    This has been suggested in previous threads. I agree it's a good idea but our friends on other continents might object to it being called the Europa League. But I see your angle and agree it's a good idea.

    Europa league or an equivalent will only work if they adjust the promotion system. You get money for finishing in the top 7 and you get promoted. If you finish in the top 4 then you get the added continental competition
