I think it would be better if you could choose an auto-sub for each player on the pitch. so if a certain player got hurt then the auto sub for that player goes in or at least for each position separately !

It shouldnt be ok to have 22 players...for substitude first team...I think its good as it is...

I have never liked the auto subs in the game, it is too difficult that the midfield has so many needed with only two slots and the wing slots don't include ML/MR. I change my formation to one that uses all the slots (using AML/AMR) when I won't be present. I used to make multi-role wing players for subs but got lazy, and now have an DMC/MC/AMC for easier subbing.

If illegal formation have already been forever completely abandoned, maybe avoid arranging as any wing player as well.

Well, using the auto-subs it's a good 1st step.
I 'm lv6 and I still watching some games where the managers don't have activated "auto-subs"
- and I 'm talking about knock-out rounds in Cup and Ch.League.

Yes, fixed that typo is DMC/MC/AMC, also I have AMC/MC and a DL/DC/DR it is a lot of effort though, since I can't be at every game I think it's worth it.

The subs system could use a change/update I think, but many (obviously) have found the formations that fit it work for them..

Only if you have Defenders with roles : DR-DC-DL,or,at least DR-DC or DL/DC,
so any injured defender may be auto substituted by a defender with his same role...
