    Player Stats

This is related to suggestions of better 'defensive' stats.

I'd like to see some stats that are more a measure of quality & activity alongside the headline grabbers such as goals assists and cards. Even if goals conceded and saves were added as defensive stats there is still a measure of quality lacking in these too.

I'd like to see more stats based around:

    Passes
    Tackles
(and for GKs) 'holds/catches/gathers' - for saves and non-saves.

These can be summarised as Possession Stats - how many passes/how many tackles and the success rate; and for GKs start to give a quality to saves and extend data to include non-saves - as a measure of how often a player is involved and how successful he is at gaining and keeping possession.

PS. Please add No of passes attemted in Game Stats as well as a tally of offsides.

PPS Although these are mainly designed to plug the gap for defensive and midfield players this 'quailty & activity' principle could be extended to attacking too with things like goal attempts.

Agreed. Not being able to see stats such as these on defenders, makes bidding on such players too much of a wild card compared to more offensive players; especially at the start of a new season when there is little or no form history.
