Make it possible to sign veterans for 5 years

I see many 32-year-olds retire. I want to keep my best players their entire careers and would like to be able to sign the 30-year old on a 5 year deal, that way he wont retire until 34.

I agree. 34 is very young these days.

I think what should happen is that when a player gets to be 35 he stops getting experience points. As such he will lose a star every season, until he is no longer any good. Once he gets to 1 star he retires automatically.

Once he gets to 35 make it so he can't be sold, but he can be released (An option could be instead of quick sale, its suggest retirement, which the player would then agree to). It will remove people from being able to buy older players, but keeps them in the game for a bit longer where they have sentimental worth to people, or are good for certain teams.

Stopping them from getting better quality will mean that eventually they will become too bad for the team and naturally they will leave the club, just like in real life.
