Competition between player selections

Obviously, it would not be practically possible to organize competitions like World cup or Euro. But what about a cup or a league that would involve a selection made of players from the same club league ? For instance, 1 manager would be randomly drawn to be the coach for one game. If not available, he/she could decline and another one would take care of the team. The coach would have to pick players from his/her league (let's say, from at least 10 clubs and 5 maximum in one specific team) and to try to win against other selections (cup or league - to be decided). At the end, the winning league would get a reward for its team and the most successful manager a certain bonus. Plus a trophy in his/her room !

More competitions, is what I was asking for too. National competitions per seerver, with all players of server allowed to see these matches.. and selected managers to participe can be.. a selection of managers between those who won the Cup or the CL if there are not enough of a country...

if you write competition between players, than would be more useful to create a cup where you have to sign up for with 1 or more token.
