I dont know in what level you are, but after lev.18- 19 there is not such thing such as "easy" 7 player promotion. Competition there is hard with ppl really active playing. If relegation existed there you might find yourself looping between 20 and 21 level for 2 boring years and eventually get bored and quit the game.

Yes you will, but advancing quality with training is very slow to be considered as a factor, team qlty improvement is happening mainly because teams have access to better players when advancing in levels, so it will be so boring for some casual teams instead of remaining in the same level, to have to go backwards and then repeat their previus steps, there after patterns of advancing or not advancing are numerous . I admit it was an exaggerating sarcastic example trying to give an idea,in my opinion, as how boring a "game" can be for some occasional players with that kind of rule.
