I think the games are very fast, sometimes it is impossible to make a substitution in which the order was given to 60/70 minutes.
my suggestion is that the playing time should be slower and more noticeable to the managers could replace players, change tactics, etc...

it can be easy fixed with a faster time for changing players after you selected him for substitution, it's takes around 6 minutes in-game to change him.

try to change player before the 60th minutes, ull never missed that..
