This has been raised many times. It’s a good idea but too risky in terms of the potential for misuse. We have chat in Associations and I think that works well. I reckon in game or pre/post match chat would open a can of worms.

If only would there be a disable chat button, it would be awesome to prevent inappropriate words. But I don't think this is a very important thing for a game like this and still would be exploitable.
