    - 12 % every season instead of - 20 %

the current training system makes the progress of players slower than before

The abuse of friendlies should stop. One friendly match per day is enough.

If devs prefer not to return the old training system, and they are looking for a window to please the customers ( we the managers)... i suggest

that they change the system of - 20% every season to - 12 % only for each 1 level of promotion

what do you think mates ? is this a good idea or it has a lot of negative side effects ?

    What exactly do you mean?

20% is the equivalent of 1 star. At every promotion, the translation from the absolute quality to stars shifts by one star. If you have a player with 165 quality that has exactly 5 stars, then after promotion this player will have the same 165 quality and exactly 4 stars. Before the promotion, this player was noted as 100% and after promotion it will be 80%.

Do you suggest that a player should gain 2 quality points (the equivalent of 8%) instantly after promotion? Because that will be the case when a player “looses 12%” and the conversion between quality and % remains the same.

Or do you suggest to change the conversion rate between quality and %, so that a star means 12% instead of 20%? In that way you still loose a full star at promotion, but you will have it back more quickly.

you don't lose a star you lose 20% there is no conversion to make and not every star stage equals 20%. if you had a player on 45% that is 3 star, if on 60% that's 4 star only then does it go to 80% 5 star and 100% 6 star and 120% 7 star if you have a player on 80% they lose 16% so they don't lose a whole star they do go down to 64% if they only lost 10% they would go down to 72% and they'd still have about half their next star

maybe 20% is too high, players promoted from English league 2 to league 1 probably don't need to improve 20% to compete, maybe a player going from championship to premier league may need to up his game more but probably still not by 20% - whether it should change or how easy that would be I don't know, coz it would surely have a big knock on effect all the way up and down the levels, suspect that its not the biggest concern of the devs right now

Is this supposed to make any sense? Please make proper sentences, so people can understand what you mean.

To react on the first few words: you loose both 20% and a star on promotion. Both are equivalent. 100% = 6 stars, 80% = 5 stars, etc. As far as I can read your post, you don’t seem to understand how the system works.

A star is just a VISUAL SYMBOL that is equal to 20% of skills.

The system now makes you see that you've lost -20% of skills when you promote.
If you had a 100% player last season, u see it 80% this season ( losing one star is just a visual thing - the skills of players remain the same but the effects of skills decrease from one level to the following).

What I suggested is a little manipulation :
When a 100% player promotes one level , I suggest that he is seen by the manager and his rivals in league as 88% or 85% instead of 80%. ( -12% or - 15 %)

this will have many positive effects :

A- Transfer market : it will witness less bidding wars.
    B- Star visuality : can remain the same ( 1 star = 20% ) or can be changed ( 1 star = 12% or 15 % or even 30 % )
C- Player career: the life of player in 1 team will increase as managers will tend to keep the player more seasons
D- Levels : it will tighten the difference between two levels and make the competition harder.
E- Friendlies as a method to improve player instead of training which is slow now would be less needed

This hypothetical suggestion might also has some negative effects ... let's if + is more than - to judge ...

Maybe apply this method to older players, that would be actually nice. As far as this being the new rule, I don't think Nordeus will even consider a change.

Of course that theres a conversion to do.

The % is relative to a number that was/is there and was the old system before the %'s and those who played enough know it.

    5* at L1, are 25AvQ, every 1AvQ point is = +15 skills, now +15%s and a complet star was 5 points, so 75 old cones, now 1%s...

When you promote to L2 the 5* is at 30 points, thats why the player loses this 20%,

    Because the 80% = 25 points at L1, 30 at L2, 35 at L3. So if at L3 you keep the 25 points of the L1 the player will be 3* so that's 40%.

And well, this change for technical reasons can't be done.
