Preventive algorithm when buying multiple players

I recently spent 89 coins buying two random players for my national team. I understand that it was a risk and that players are selected (probably) randomly. But I received two players of identical rating that both played the same position. They were even only one year apart in age. Perhaps going forward measures can be taken to prevent same-position players from being selected in random purchases of multiple players.
