As title says...
I'm getting youth players near the end of the season (when players lose stars) so when I get my promising 4* youngster, he is getting demoted back to 3* and ages to 19 years old as soon as they arrive. I got my youths today (Day 28) and they lose a star tomorrow with being promoted so the token youth player is simply not good enough.
Here is my youth academy schedule over the next 3 seasons on the 12 day cycle.
Day 12,24
Day 8,20
Day 4,16,28
What use is it for your youth players that are already a bit short in quality (4*) to arrive near the end of the season than closer to the beginning. If it was upto me and the option was there to use a few extra tokens (like 1 per day to speed up), then I'd consider it so my youths land on Day 2 of every season. (because the game processess any youths arriving on day 1 as being previous seasons players. I know thats a fact due to old rotations of my youth system before I was fully upgraded.)
Or at least make the Youth Academy a "fixed 14 day cycle" that produces youths on Day 2 and Day 16 of each season.
Another point. We also don't get to choose where the youth player plays, I rejected a youth (on Day 4 of S40) I would of otherwise of signed had he played in a role that I needed rather than a role I was already strong on, therefore even at the favourable days of the season the youths arrive, there no good because its not a role I need making it less likely I will sign the token youth player as it currently already is.
I'm not complaining about the token costs of a youth player. they are fine because they are fast trainers and we pay the premium. What I'm not happy with is the TIMING of the season when we tend get our youth players.
