Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen, and welcome to my Thread on my Team in Top Eleven - The Chimera! However, before I dive in and show you the ins and outs of my team, I'd like to mention a little something about myself (I apologise if this isn't proper etiquette, but what's a team without a Manager, hmm?). I am a 20 year old guy who is from England, but lives in New Zealand (I put England as my home, as that's where I consider my true home to be).
Anyway, enough about me. You're not here to learn about me, but to learn about The Chimera! I would like to point out that I've always been a fan of Germany, which would explain why I have German shirts for my team and I have more German players on my team than any other country (Italian players also being the most too). So, here is the current look at my team as of today!
Yes, all of my Players are named after real Footballers (Most of them are indeed German/Italian (except 3, I thought they had cool names and didn't want to change them, except for Alighieri, that one is for me)). I have a penchant for having real Players on my team. Makes me feel like I'm managing a team of Football Masters & Legends.
As you can see, we've been having a spectacular Season so far! We are currently top of our League and top of our Group in the Champions League.

Now then, as you can see from my Team Overview, I do have a slight blemish on my otherwise perfect record for this Season. Yes, that one match I lost has haunted me for some time now. I've even lost sleep over it! (Well, not really, but yeah... Haha!)
Unfortunately, The Chimera had their hopes of a Cup Run dashed this Season in the Second Round and it was very heart breaking. Allow me to set the scene; We put on a shameful display at Home in the 1st Leg, losing 1-3 to a Team that was clearly better on the night. However, we were not about to go down without a war. Yes, a war. I was prepared to launch Full-Scale War to make sure we would win. That's almost exactly what happened... ALMOST. We went right at them and were definitely the more dominant team of the night. We were 3-0 up and it seemed like we had done the impossible - Claw our way back up to the top and win... But it wasn't meant to be. In the 90th minute, our hopes of going through were set back, as our opposition were able to score off a last second Corner. I had hoped we still had enough left to play through Extra Time and either score a winner, or try our luck at Penalties. But I was wrong again. In the 114th minute, the opposition broke through our back line and scored. I had hoped to pull another one back, but it just wasn't on the cards. We won 3-2, but it was a bittersweet victory, as that ET Goal had resulted in a 4-5 aggregate score and sent our opposition through to the 3rd Round and The Chimera crashing out of the Cup. Now, I'm sure all of you have that one player on your team who really is the driving force behind your team's successes. He scores the most, assists most often and almost always gets MoM, your 'Star Player', if you will. Well, my team is no different. The 'Star Player; for The Chimera is none other than my Striker, Miroslav Klose. Here is a look at his Stats in Info (He might be a NordGen Player, but I'm not sure, would someone like to tell me if he is?)
His stats show he's on Top Form almost every game and the League reflects this. He is the Top Scorer, Top Passer and is currently 3rd in Top Rated.

He is also REALLY close (I'll spare you the pun, I'm sure it's been done) to learning Free Kick Specialist. Though he doesn't really need it, as he converts Free Kicks into Goals about 90% of the time, whether it be a goal from him, or an Assist from him and someone else scores. I picked up Klose last Season and he has been fantastic ever since. Along with the rest of The Chimera, we were able to lift the League Trophy for the very first time! (It was the Unique World Cup Version too, so that was awesome!) We nabbed 3rd Place in the Cup for a second time (Still haven't won it) but failed to get past the Quarter-Finals of our first ever Champions League Campaign.

However, it hasn't been a very easy start for me or my team. We had a very poor start and we grabbed out first League Trophy in Season Four.
