I have not been playing top11 for about 3 years. But now the motivation has returned. I will not spend lots of money on this game. In fact, I will not spend a single penny. You will soon be hearing a funny but oh so tragic story That took place just a couple of hours ago.
But first - I took over this club in the middle of the season. The team had played nine games before I signed.
I wrote a "showcase" but something went wrong when I was finished - And all I wrote disappeared. That was the first part of two of my funny stories.
The second part of the story is as follows - I clicked on "earn" tokens in the game. Ordered a mug with a personal photo on. The reward was 214 tokens. Then add that you get 40 tokens when the game starts. 214 + 40 = 254 tokens. That is my initial capital. I will not buy tokens ever.
The funny part of this is - I bought a sweater at home for 8 tokens. It was green and black. Then I would buy an away jersey. I bought a jersey that was also black and green but with a different pattern - did not work to activate the jersey. So I bought another away jersey which was also black and green but with yet another pattern. It also cost 8 tokens. But the same damn thing happened again. Then I thought that I can not have two shirts which are both green. Soooo - I bought another damn jersey ..... this was orange and black, also cost 8 tokens. But what do you think happened? Yes you are right ... it did not work. Then I saw a small text stating that the shirts may not contain the same colors. Nordeus (MAYBE) should mention it (before) buying jerseys. Sooooo .... for the fourth time (fifth if you count the first jersey) I bought a white and red away jersey. Voila - it worked. I spent 40 tokens on the jerseys. only 16 of them the tokens were well invested. 40-16 = 24. soooooooo .... 24 tokens straight to hell. Ohhhh, I forgot to mention that you had one token back when I was selling fast. So +3 tokens back from Those -24. So then I threw away 21 tokens .... for nothing .... How's that for a storie? I had intended to buy a club badge and two jerseys. But after buying 3 jerseys that did not work and lost 21 tokens because of it, so I skipped buying a club badge. Now I hope you laugh - Because I did not F ****** laugh

As I mentioned above , I took over the club before their 10th league game . The team was at the top of the table with 8-2-0 and 15-4 in goal difference before I took over. But the team had already been knocked out of the Cup in the last 16. Not much I can do about it now. An hour after I signed up , it was time for the league match against 12th placed " Pretty F.C. " away from home . One game I must win .
It was 0-0 at half time . But in the second half we started to play good football and we eventually won by a convincing 0-4.
As you can see, I was lucky and got a very good team . Many players with 4 stars and a player with 5 stars . Promising young players with high value. ( The luck I deserved after the debacle with tokens for 3 jerseys that did not work !!
This is how the table looks like after 10 league games. So far so good, still undefeated.
I intend to continue to update this showcase daily . So please give me some feedback . Is it good or bad reading? fun or boring ? I am open to all criticism . Now I keep a hawk eye on the transfer market to see if there is someone / some interesting players. We need a DR / DMR since we dont got one in our team .
It's like I said. It's 3 years since i last played this. I have no idea of how the new update works. Was it smart to take over a team mid-season ? Or I would have waited until the new season starts ?

IMPORTANT - I have not bought or sold any player yet. This is the team that was handed to me.
I will re-name all of my players to IRL player names ones i'm satisfied with the team. I still need to sell those who will not contribute in season 2. And i need to upgrade my team. Even if the stars looks good, the stats on some players doesn't.
For example: My most expensive most valuable striker "Kéhi" has very good defensive attributes, but his attacking ones suck. If i can sell him for around $1.5M i would be happy, since he dont have striker stats eventough he is one...
