Defending Champions Balkan Boyz have been drawn in a T11 League together with 3 top teams, such as the Turkish "Fenerbahce" (Q54,7), "Galatasaray" (47,7) and the Danish "NB99" (Q52,7). Balkan Boyz will take on the German team "Preger FC" in their opening game. The game will be held at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" with a kick off set to 14:08CET




One of the toughest opposition is perhaps the Turkish team Fenerbahce, followed by the Danish team NB99. Both teams are well known for the Balkan Boyz, since both teams participated and faced each other in the T11 CUP tournament back in season 5. The Balkan Boyz won all of the 4 meetings. The rest of the teams are all around Q40-45 and their squad consist mainly of 3* to 4*.

The Balkan Boyz were once again given a tough draw in The Champions League, pitted against opposition such as "Jerem28 Flue" (Q55,9) and "Arsenal FC" (Q54,8) from France, "FC Uppercutz" (Q53,9) and "Talha FC" (Q49,7) from Turkey, "FC G Touwn Rules" (Q48,3) from Macedonia, "FC Yamoussoukro" (Q55,3), "FC Zelta" (Q48,2), "Blubb United" (Q47,5) and "Gitano FC" (Q45,9) from Germany, "Ekranas FC" (Q47,4) from Lithuania, "Something something FC" (Q47,3) from Camerron. The remaining teams are all around Q38-44 and their squad consist mainly of 3* and 4*. The Balkan Boyz have been drawn in a group G, together with "Blubb United" (Q47,5) and "Gitano FC" (Q45,9) from Germany and "Ersin FC" (Q44,3) from Turkey. Balkan Boyz will take on the German team "Blubb United" in their opening game. The game will be held at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" with a kick off set to 20:20CET this evening.


Manager -Ljepoje- seemed quite satisfied with the draw, but a admitted that it will be a tough Champions League tournament this season. In a short post-game interview he said, "Once again we have been given a tough, but quite interesting draw and this season is not an exception. The French, German and Turkish teams seem to be one of the toughest. But I believe we could go all the way, reaching the finals and hopefully win the Champions League. If we look at the opposition then I would say that the toughest oppositions are perhaps the French teams "Jerem28 Flue" (Q55,9) and "Arsenal FC" (Q54,8), followed by the German "FC Yamoussoukro" (Q55,3) and the Turkish "FC Uppercutz" (Q53,9). Our goal in the Champions League this season is to win the group stage, reach the finals and hopefully win it as well. It will be tough, but I think we have a good chance to accomplish it".

Well despite from the things I wrote in http://forum.topeleven.com/top-eleve...-doing-54.html and

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Balkan Boyz finished 3rd in the T11 Champions League this season after losing to the German team "F.C. Yamoussoukro" (result: 6-4 on aggregate) in the semi-finals. The final was played between the German team "F.C. Yamoussoukro" and the Turkish team "FC Uppercutz", a final which the turkish team won by 1 - 2. This is also Balkan Boyz 5th CL Trophy.




LEAGUE: Balkan Boyz finished at a 9th place in the T11 League competition this season after a "successful" tanking.




CUP: Balkan Boyz were eliminated in the KO-round, together with Dynamo SWAG, Orchard Utd, Fenerbahce,Malatayspor, Madrid FC, FC Miwo and the last season CUP winners "FC Ovech". Neither of the "top teams" managed to make their way to the final-eight. The final game was played between the Turkish "Burkan FC" and the Czech "FC Kunovice", a game in which "FC Kunovice" won by 3-2.

HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz present their squad for season 8!

The Balkan Boyz management presented their final squad for season 8 in front of 193,000 fans at the newly built -BALKAN ARENA- this afternoon and revealed the new signings as well. Players such as, Mateo Kovačić (Inter), Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Sanjin Prcić (Sochaux), Taulant Xhaka (FC Basel), Izet Hajrović (Grasshopper Club Zürich,), Mario Mandžukić (FC Bayern München), Adnan Januzaj (Manchester United U21), Darijo Srna (Shakhtar Donetsk) and Jr. Semirinho (Youth academy) are some of the new-old faces and the ones that will be wearing The Balkan Boyz jersey for the next 3 seasons.

In a comparison from the squad from season 5 - 7, The Balkan Boyz are clearly weaker and with a overall quality of 59,5. But despite that, Manager -Ljepoje- believes that his team will have a good chance and stand the competition in the League and CUP. "Overall, I’m more then satisfied with the squad for this season. We have clearly benefited from tanking and not participating in the league competition last season. Some of the players have developed and grown in quality and strenght as well. I’m also quite pleased with the positions that we’ve got, especially with the MR+ML. Also, it will be a delight to PT our newly signed youth talent Jr. Semirinho and hope he can bend it like Beckham or Ronaldinho. I have high expectations and all eyes will be on this guy in a week when the PT is concluded -Ljepoje- said".
