I just dont understand why my ball possession is dominating but cant get many opportunities to go through their defense.

Dont do the wholepitch for formation with 4 defs, except during game-setting for extra punches. Change the tacking to normal, remove arrows from dr,dl, If your squad is not too strong, go with only 3 red arrows on 3 sts, attacking through middle, mixed passing (short passing if no arrows on any STs), zonal mark, normal tackling, own half, and you should be fine
