    Hardhaus - Norwegian Team

Edited post: put in picture of Teamsheet at the start of Season 3 on top of this post.

    ----------------------------------------

Things are going really well for the boys at "Hardhaus" this season, after last years rescueoperation by manager xxxxxx (lets call him Shankly ). The team was struggling at 8th place after 14 matches when Shankly took over, but he brought the team up to a respectable 2nd spot. Winner last year was pretty much always going to be our main Rivals, managed by my reallife friend. He already had a lead of 12-15 pts when i was hired, and a full scout team, so chances of catching up with him were less than zero really..
The team was obviously not participating in the CL, and was already out of the cup in the preliminaries.
All in all the board were very satisfied with Shankly's work, and the fact he secured CL-spot in his first season was particularly pleasing.

Pre-season we did some (token)shopping, so the team is now a nice mix of scouts and high quality youngsters (mostly 28/29 quality) with a nice mix of SA's.

    Hardhaus Facts:

Home Ground: Hardhaus Stadium. Currently holds 31.000 spectators, but expansions are planned...
    Fanclub: «Gamlehjemmet»
Kit: Home – Liverpool Home Jersey, Away – Liverpool Away Jersey
    Main Rivals: "Man Utd"
Other Rivals: "Queen Vic FC" & "NAV Fotball"

    Season 1:
    Cup out in preliminaries
    CL n/a
    League Finished in 2nd spot

    Hardhaus Squad for Season 2:

    Pos: # Name Age SA

    Gk 25 Pepe Reina 24 1 on 1 stopper
DL (DML) 3 Monahad Hacham 18
(DL) DC 5 Daniel Agger 24 Penalty kick (....)
(DC) DR 2 Phil Neal 19
DMC 24 Jordan Henderson 22 Playmaker
MC 14 Xabi Alonso 19 Freekick Specialist
MC 8 Steven Gerrard 26 Dribler
    AML(ML) 10 John Barnes 22 Dribler
    AMR(MR) 31 Raheem Sterling 24 Corner Specialist
ST 11 Bill Shankly 23 Penalty Specialist
ST 7 Luis Suarez 22 Corner Specialist

    GK 1 Bruce Grobbelaar 18
DC DR 6 Alan Hansen 18
DL DC 17 Paul Stoica 18 Defensive Wall
DC DMC 18 Shintaro Toume 18
    MC 12 Frantisek Marosi 19
AML AMC AMR 15 Philippe Coutinho 23 Shadow Striker
    ST 9 Robbie Fowler 24 1 on 1 Scorer

    DR 16 Benito Krul 21
DL DC 13 Tony Matos 21

As of today's date, we have played 12 league matches and are sitting on top of our league, although only by 1 small pt. 3rd place team is only 1pt behind that too so pretty close. There are a few more teams in our league that has bought themselves decent squads, so competition for first place can be somewhat hard i guess. We should be pretty safe in top4 though, so next years CL is almost a certainty already.

So far in the season our top goalscorer is Bill Shankly, with a total of 22 goals. 2nd on the list is our MC (!) X.Alonso with 16 (i think 8-10 atleast has been from direct freekicks).
Best assist has been Bill Shankly again, with 15. 2nd on this list is R.Sterling with 13 and L.Suarez with 12.

Most of the players has been with us the whole season, but Hacham, Stoica, Toume and Marosi has been aquired at later stages and has all come into the team and impressed manager Shankly.

In the CL we got into a pretty weak group, with even 1 manager who seemed to be awol for all 6 games. Nothing much to say, 6 straight wins and we're into the final 16. There are as i can see 3 teams that stands out in our CL this year (teams that have average quality 8-10 above all others), and unfortunately we will meet one of them in the quarterfinal and the other in the semi if we get that far. :S
On the bright side – final should be a walkover if we can just get there

    We do alright..

Tonight's League game was a good match for our boys. Away to "Jaewon FC" we were in control of the game from start to finish. Couthino got a rare starting spot, and thanked for that by hitting our first goal on 6mins played. Although we controlled everything during first half, we had to wait until the 55th minute for our 2nd goal. But after that we didn't stop until we had hit 6 behind their poor GK. All in all a good game, and we used a couple guys that usually occupies the bench and rested some of our best players (for tonight's CL match).

    Match facts:
    Jaewon FC - Hardhaus 0-6. (Couthino 6", Alonso 55" 88", Shankly 59" 70", Barnes 77")
    MoM: Shankly, Hardhaus
    Yellow Card Hardhaus: Marosi

Now just waiting for next match in about an hour, first match of CL knockout rounds. Bring it on!

    Update from today's events;

New signing in this morning. Manager Shankly is proud to present no less than 3 new players, all of them picked up for 1 token each. Shankly said in an interview he just cant belive his luck in the transfermarked last couple of days - its been literally packed with 18-19 year old wonderkids! 5* and almost all 29 quality.
Shankly eventually opted for these 3:
Iliyan Ivanov, an 18 year old Bulgarian AML/ML. Seen as a replacement next season for J.Barnes
Dennis Englund, an 18 year old Swedish DC/DMC - will be used as DC mostly. Seen as long term replacement for D.Agger, and also 2nd DC when we opt for 4-5-1v or any other combo with 4 in def.
Marinio Schuurman, an 18 year old Dutch MC who will immediately take over for S.Gerrard, as our Captain has been really disappointing this season and will be sold soon
The Club is delighted to have gotten these 3 players for 3 Tokens(!!) and quite a few dollars (around 3m each) They are all well worth PT'ing, and Shankly is considering it right now.

    Today's matches:

Started off with return leg of CL match against "Labu FC". After winning the away leg 2-0 we were quite confident going in to the match, and we would go on to prove there was good reason for that. New signing Ivanov got us started in the 18th minute with his first goal for the club, and in the 29th minute the other two new boys made a mark. Assist from Schuurman, and Englund got his first for the club.
    K. Dalglish (formerly known as L.Suarez - who i didn't want in my team anymore) then gave 3-0, before the Shankly show started! And what a show it was! He didn't stop until he had 4 assists and 3 goals! One of them one to remember - he got both assist and a goal from a penalty. Weird, but Nordeus FA said he got assist so then it must be so!
Match ended 9-0, and with 11-0 total we are through to the next round where we will be facing our Fierce rivals "Man Utd". Led by their manager who is my best friend irl - so much prestige there! Their team is 2-3 quality better than our on average, so I need to outsmart him i guess.

Forgot to add 2nd match of today.

Away fixture against "Queen Vic FC", another one of our rivals. Managed by my girlfriend in fact Now it was time to show who was best in the family!
Hardhaus went into the match as favorites, having won the home fixture with 3-1 and had a narrow lead of 1 pt in the League before the game.
In what was anticipated to be the most fun game of the season, we both got very disappointed. In a boooooring game the only thing worth mentioning was Shankly's goal after 5 minutes. 0-1, and the game was a huge yawn after that. Hardhaus got the 3 points though and are back on top of the League.

Breaking news: Hardhaus is out of the Cup tournament for this season

After loosing 2-0 at home to lvl 4 team "manchester united", we needed something of a miracle to save this tie. But unfortunately it wasn't to be. We tried going on the offence from start, but even though we won the statistics quite clearly it didn't result in any goals.
After a rather disappointing 0-0 draw, our Cup-adventure is over for this time.

Semi finals of CL starts today. I'm facing another one of my rivals, "NAV Fotball" (managed by friend). Our team should be the better one, as i just beaten him 6-0 in the league earlier today so hoping for a similar result in CL match later tonight

Been doing good in leage, still have a few pts lead over just "NAV Fotball" and "Queen Vic FC", but still cannot afford any slip up. Games against NAV and Queen V is done though, so hopefully i can hold on to my lead until end of season.

CL final will be against a team slightly below me in average, so if i beat NAV in semi's i have a good chance of bringing back some Silverware for our Trophyroom

League more or less taken care of, and we hold a very good lead (9-0!) after the first leg of CL-semi. Aiming for the Double this season, which was realistically the best we could hope for (winning Cup was always going to be difficult since facing lvl 4-6 teams in all rounds).

Statistics (and maybe some screens if i can be arsed ) coming after CL final

After today's 4-0 victory over 5th placed "Vol'Ball", the League is all but secured for Hardhaus in their Managers first full season.

Celebrations are being put on hold though, as the team is preparing for Champions League Final tomorrow afternoon. The whole town is cheering and are hoping for Shanklys boys to bring home a double.
