The Wolf's Τeam - An Endless Didactic Βook

    Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdI...yVzAIu-sV29ZYQ

    Hey all

Wolf here . Due to all the recent attention I conceded , as a result of me being in many parts of the community , I decided to open a thread about my team and maintain it from times to times . Who knows , maybe one day my story will become a guide to new players and an ancient book which you randomly found in the storage for the retired ones

    The beginning

Everything started when I came back into the game after 2 years "break" (it wasnt a break exact as I had never took the game seriously before lol) . This time , I wanted to write my name in Top Eleven Hall of Fame , I was dedicated .
As I was new to the game , I started reading many forum tutorials and biographies of succesfull managers . Also , I started joining a few other places in the community like fb groups and so on .
What I quickly realized is that if you want to have a competitive team , you have to start farming rest packs and thats what I did . I bought 2 young players on who I invested . The rest were some decent 25+ yo 5 stars .

Days passed and the opportunity came soon . I was accepted to play in a platinum association . I was very happy . Here I want to thank those boys who trusted me despite the fact that I was a level 1 manager knowing nothing xD

-"Here we play 4-5-1v style almost all the time . You should have a strong AMC in order to swap your DMC when you are down on the score "

At first I liked that idea . I thought that 451v must been the "best formation" (there is no such thing btw) out there that rarely fails . So I started buying players that suits for that formation . Results werent bad to be honest . 4-5-1v style seemed to work well but here the wolfs sceptical entered the room . I wanted to be different . I wanted to be unique . That was the goal from the beginning ...

Days passed , and I had been reading hundreds of guides ...

Another thing that I was told quite soon , was that I should manipulate .Manipulate means keep a squad in the last day of the season of 14 players , with 9 good players plus 5 one stars or so in order to get easy opponents and get trophies tirelessly .This opened a door to me , the door of playing it easy and destroying bot teams in combination of winning poor guys who want to have fun . As a newbie , I thought that would be perfect . Seasons passed , trebles came but there was no fun nor competition , and the worst, my tactical knowledge didnt improve ...

Thats when I said to myself : " NO , you will start learning by playing fairly otherwise you will go and find another game to play"

I started talking with some experienced managers and I realized that each one of them had their own ideas , their own view of the game.
Thats the moment when I escaped the "safe zone " of my association and started sharing my thoughts with other managers on social medias . I started to become much more experienced . I interracted with many managers across the world , experienced and not , I listened to their ideas , I respected their point of views and I gave mine too .

    Soon , I became a good player , with a 115% team and a few superstars .

Day by day , the tactical knowledge was being improved . In addition , I joined a few tournaments , here in forum , in which I did very well and I met some very experienced and polite players...

One day , I wake up and said to myself : Why not helping other people to understand the game better?
and thats when I started my youtube channel . The first video I uploaded was , How to get money in top eleven xD
I started to be regocnized in the community . I continued uploading and sharing with people my ideas . Fans quickly came and I opened my heart to them . I gave advice , no matter if it was something obvious .

Weeks passed , the summer had passed and I found myself in front of a huge question ...

"Do you want to change the community to better and become famous or you will be just one more experience guy from the majority?"

so it was an "all for all situation"

risk and succeed or fall back and watch the other succeed

Guess what I chose . So , I needed to learn even more about the game . No one cares about someone who doesnt know how the game and the game engine works . Experiments came , I read even more guides and I joined the top eleven discord server . More people came to my channel and the change had been done . I became a coach for many people .

Soon , I started investing on players skills , not quality , I mean its better having a AMR player with 100% overall and 200% on attack rather than one with 150% overall and 200% on attack . The lower quality , the better . No one wants to face tankers and token buyers . Also , I got inspired from Apolo Rock , a youtuber , from his players with crazy skills . I did the same , I started experiments on training as well . Which attributes are the most important and so on . I came up to a conclusion that fitness and crativity is from the most important . I forgot to tell you that Im a fan of defensive and fast football , fan of counter attacks and long balls . Therefore I spent most of my time (during the experiments) to understand how counter attacks work . Not clear results , we all know that Top Eleven is not a perfect game and it has a lot of minor flaws . More experiments , more knowledge and experience came . Then I became a coach on the discord server , giving people advices and winning some tournaments . The rumor of myself quickly increased . Soon , I reached 1k subs on youtube and before I realized what had happened , I hit 2k ! Wow

How I became a no striker fan and started playing strange

Everything started when @lmaestroll got interviewed by khris . I was reading the interview surprised .

-wow this guy is an actual pro !
he found his own playstyle as a result from pure dedication to the game and his love to football . he was analyzing how teams like Barcelona play and he brought to the top eleven world the False 9 role from football ! amazing . His words opened a world to me.Thats when I started my own experiments about this subject . Mixed results at first but I had to continue . A wolf doesnt give up like this ! Days passed with me being sceptical . later , I asked myself :
-Why are you doing this ? Is it because you want to copy someone?
-No , I liked so much his thoughts that It seemed like I was totally copying . I wanted to get the main idea from it and make it perfect with my own additions .

To be honest , at first , I used to tease the prof (@lmaestroll) for his formations . Wow this guy is playing without striker , he must been a noob , striker is the most important role . That was the result of my ignorance and inexperience on how the game works . Not to mention what I said when I saw him playing with one defender ...(thats how people act to me now )

Curiosity made me to go more in-depth about his playstyle and philoshopy . I started talking with him . I started asking him . I disturbed him , just to learn a few more things . But no , thats not how it was . Our similar mindsets and priorities about the game made us friends .

At first I had defeats , quite unlucky , but still defeats . I was a step behind quitting but my friend encourage me to continue with such strong words like :

you never lose , either you win , or you learn
Winners train , losers complain .
Quitters never win and winners never quit

Thats when the heyday came . I started winning every game and I soon reached 3k on my youtube channel . I also became an admin on a fb group

Soon I started playing without striker and adapting to every opponent (even that means 1dc). Thats when I became really better because I watched the movements of my players with a variety of formations .

Right now I have a 83matches winning streak playing with almost equal opponents

I came first out of 40 people in discord , as the result of hard work and experiments . yes experiments , thats what I suggest to every new player to do , go outside and make your own experiments , you might discover your own way of playing Dont ask other players what to do ! Thats a quick fix ! You dont want quick fixes . Invest on long term , not short . Okay , you will get a piece of advice but in the next time , you will have to ask again and thats not how you improve ! thats how your knowledge stays static ... Im not saying to dont ask for help , Of course ask when its needed but remember that some day you will have to leave the safe zone and fight alone.

I am also chosen to represent the greek community in a global tournament . Im in the 11 best greek players . WOW . Lets see how it goes . I won the shamrock event too .

Now I will answer a few questions from samuel interview which I think will help new managers to understand the game better and they will understand more my philoshopy : )

Static formation, or variable according to the opponent?

For sure , variable . Every formation has its pros and cons (advantages and disadvantages ) , every formation works well against certain formation . Every formation has a counter . Yes , I agree that there are a few formations that have a high winning rate but they can be countered as well .So here I want to mention that there is no such thing as best formation and it all depends on your opponent's formation and strength . That is one of the reason why managers with static formations get "trolled" against weaker teams . yes , formation counts . One day you will find a weaker team with a formation that works well against yours and you will lose , then the majority blames nordeus and quites .

Imagine that the game starts, possession against, foul against, and goal in the minute 1 ‘… what would The wolf do?

Never panic . when you panic , you dont think clearly . Always be calm . One more thing you can do is to ask yourself a few questions like the following :

    a) what would I do if I concede a goal early ?
    b) what would I do if I get a red card early?
c)What would I do if the opponent changes his formation?
d)What would I do if my best players get injured?

Those questions and many more , will help you to maintain the calm and to dont panic during a game . Panic doesnt help . Always stay calm and react with an open mind .

Sometimes , during my games , I listen to music , it helps my brain to think more clearly

To a new Top Eleven player, what advice would you give him?

To never give up basically . I was one step before quitting but look where I am now : D . Never quit , you dont know what future will look like.

But in game , I suggest to start making experiments and to adapt in every opponent . Make rotations and DONT TANK .

regarding how to build effective players , there are various of tutorials around the communities and social medias . Here , the target is not how you get there but if you get there . Find your own training method .Prioritize white skills . Prioritize attributes accordingly to how
you want your team to perform like . Personally , I prioritize speed and fitness .

To the titles subject , I have a video on how to win the treble . I think it mentions everything I want to say . You can find it here :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilUpOkYsyHw&t=67s

But remember , as the prof said , there are many ways to arrive to rome and of course there are many ways to win titles, some are easier and some are more difficult , my advice is to choose the one that let you enjoy the game, having fun is the main purpose of a game .

Is it a mutant, a factor as decisive as it seems to many?

In my opinion , nowadays , it not and it is xD . I have a friend who thinks he is gonna win because he has a perfect team . He doesnt care about tactics and when he loses , he blames nordeus
First goes tactic-formation , then factors like manager attedning , rating variations , good-bad day and so on . In case of a tie in the calculations , skills count . They work on association better but sometimes it can be a decisive factor . Nobody knows how the game engine works here

50 % for attributes, or a Special Ability? And which would you chose for every single line inside your team?

50% for attributes . Special abilities are just a boost on the current skills .

gk : one on one stopper
    dl/dr: wall
    dc : aerial defender
    dmc/mc/aml/amr : playmaker
    amc : shadow striker
st: free kick specialist or one on one scorer

I will be adding more and more info through the days , so stay tuned . Hope you liked it .

Should be interesting, I might start a second one because my first account has been completely abandoned and I will show my record I with the new one, but I will say I got it donated to me.

Your record is good, you have got 29 titles (36 if you count the Super Cup,) along with an 86% win percentage, be proud of that.

You started getting really involved in the community around October so just after I joined the forum here, you have stopped me from losing games because I know what to do if I concede the opener, Thanks for the support throughout the season and well done on your promotion to Moderator and reaching over 3K subscribers, I have been subscribed since you had around 500/600 subs.

I am looking forward to reading your team updates soon.

Yes, lmaestroll is great, I never really read any guides but I should start soon, He supports me in quite a few matches so I return the favour.

I will start reading more guides and help on the forum but I will not make a YouTube channel.

I will see how helpful I am in a year or two.

Also, I might add, I have fallen behind 5 or 6 times this season, I managed to recover and win 5 of those games, I lost one because I was not in attendance, Not panicking helps, I might try putting music on soon but I am not sure if that would distract me.
One of the questions that I ask myself when I concede first or I fall behind in a match, I would think now, “what caused me to fall behind?” What is not working?, what is working well? Because I like to think about what is going well despite being behind in a match, and then, I make a plan to make small changes.

You probably have these questions but I have mine phrased in a different way.

    Thanks - enjoyed that read.

3 more days and I will get my manager 1 year badge but it is always good to see what other more experienced managers think of the game so thanks for sharing.I have tried playing the game understanding what my interpretation is and so far so good. I have taken advice from other managers as well (and of course your youtube channel). So yes - I agree fully with your statement below - in defeat there will always be a lesson............

you never lose , either you win , or you learn
Winners train , losers complain .
Quitters never win and winners never quit
