Much as I am glad to hear this, I would I must confess have been happier had the rewards on the level I just left not become higher than the rewards on the level I have achieved. I worked hard last season to get to level 30, so you can imagine my disappointment when I discovered that the earnings are less than those my friend on level 29 is getting.
I presume this "as the season progresses" thing means that this is only temporary, I guess we shall see:

First time I can recall playing this game and being deliberately worse off by getting promoted, worse off because I have had to buy better players, I can understand. But this makes a mockery of promotion.
