A doubt regarding youth academy players ?

I still don't see the point of the academy players since you have to pay 24 tokens to get a good youth. Why not spend it on the transfer market and get like 4-5 players, 18yo 5*??? Less expensive and you get like 4-5...For those signing the players from the academy, any benefit of doing so and worth 24 tokens? Please share

If your on a server where you can buy 4-5 18year old 5* players then I want to be on your server as he majority of the 18yo on my server tend to be mostly 3-4* and any 5* ones go for far too much money (and too many tokens to bid in the auction).

You never know. I had a 5* midfielder that was ****, a 3* striker that was in-form every game or so, and a 4* player that was relatively decent. The ones you get on the market I never get any luck from. 9 times out of 10 they're average at best, no matter what star level; except for this one DL i got the 2nd season that I still use today.
