When I was in season 4, I received a friend request from a manager that was not only in my league, but my CL competition as well. I was advised on here, not to accept and that he was just doing it to play unwanted friendlies against me. After weighing up the request, I took a chance and accepted. Best thing I've ever done. We have become firm friends (and indeed found each other on Fb as well). Its now 8 seasons later, and we've played in the same league together on 6 of those seasons, plus in same CL and Cup competitions. I very seldom beat him (PTO ALCUDIA), but we support each other as often as we can.

Thanks for all your advice guys, I have made the decision to not accept this time. Lost my first match 1-0 at home anyway so it is now a grudge match & a lot of work to turn around I have to beat him with a minimum 2-1 (away goals).

I get your point too Mr Mercury, it could have been a whole different story LOL.

Of course, you could always see if he's genuine, after your matches. If you are unfortunate to lose over the two matches, and are no longer in competition with each other, then you could always send him the request back. If he's genuine, then he could well accept. If he doesn't accept, well you can draw your own conclusions.
