I'm having some issues with players injuries and my formation is kinda messed up. Please help me beat this guy in order to defend my 2nd place in the league, I'm begging you! :D

It's hard to say what his formation will be as his DMC is suspended and replacing DMC is only 2*. He might play 5-3-2. I am not a fan of your formation though, i prefer something more with wingers, 4-4-2, 4-4-2 diamond or 4-5V-1.

well the obvious answer is, your players lose value on the 1st day of the season because they get older. But also, if your player is in the last year of contract you don't pay a one time bonus (10%). With that said, I am still unsure which way is the best to sell the player. I suppose it would depend on your server, luck, the player, etc. I sold three players today who were in the last year of their contract so I guess I thought that was a better way. I wouldn't say fighting for 2nd place is a big deal. For me, if you don't finish 1st, then coming 2nd,3rd or 4th is just the same really, they all get you in the Champions League, just negligible difference in prize money.
meh, Nobody remembers anything but first, like you say, but 2nd place trophy looks better than 3rd. 4th you get nothing for your trophy cabinet, so always shoot for 2nd if you cant be 1st.

I changed to hard tackle this year as a test and I rarely get yellows. It is all about possession and counter attacks. I am not telling you to go hard tackle, I am saying that I would do it if I were in your place, because it is working for me. If he has no freekick specialist then its a no brainer, but I do it even when the other team has one, just on principle. I like to hard tackle and injure the other team. I managed to replace the MC with AMC and blue arrow, and the second striker replaced with Ronaldo.. Won 1-0, but I had possession and attacking the whole time :) Didn't manage to retake 1st league position since the 1st manager won aswell (damn token buyer plays illegal formation and still wins all the time :D), but at lvl 24, for me 2nd place is good enough.
