The Champions League win ultimately took its tool on the league game in the end, I was quietly confident that we would get the job done and maintain our lead in the league but however we were head to another 0-0 draw in the league, not much to say about other than SERDAR FB had been the better team and looked likely to win the game but if it wasn't for our defence once again then we would of lost our first league game this season, Romero had a catalogue of shots that were blocked or went wide and Calavicci defended very well against any SERDAR FB set pieces, Watson playing on the OOP on the right missed a sitter to get us into that important lead but missed it.
Goals: NONE. MOTM: Calavicci.
Team Talk: We are now under a might of pressure at the moment to win the league, NAMO UNITED somehow keep winning no matter who they are playing against in the league and cruising well while half of the time we seem to struggle, We lead by 2 points and have a better GD by 3 goals BUT no doubt the GD will swing in NAMO UNITED's favour when they face their alt account soon. Only 7 wins from our last 7 games will guarantee us the league title.

On 9mins Moreau sets up Da Cunha for 1 nil and the all important away goal, Parr picks up a yellow on 14mins and Iniesta is injured but stays on, the home side seem to be taking over now and get the just rewards when Ribery scores after 25mins, The home side still on top and Aguero looks dangerous but Lendl is have a great game, so it is 1-1 at the break, Burbur replaces Parr who was on a yellow at the start of the 2nd half, and it seems to have unsettled the system so the manager instructs the team to revert to a flat back four with Fernandez dropping in there and things start to settle down, on 68mins the home side finally take off the injured Iniesta and bring on Ronaldo, on 73mins Zouma picks up a yellow card for a foul, on 83mins Hervias settles things with a blistering strike and in the last minute Burbur's cross is headed in by Moreau.

Team Talk: A really hard thought match here and a change in formation by the home side made for a much improved performance for them but the away manager made a mistake with his sub which meant he had to change things around but it worked out well in the end and so we march into the semi's 5-1AGG

The reserves had a run out here and Tataj (making a rare start) kicked things off with the first goal after receiving a pass from Velazquez and he got another midway through the half and then Djoev sets up Parr for 3-0 and that is the score at half time. At the start of the second half Humaid is replaced by Burbur, which means Summers will fill in at the back, ten minutes into the half Velazquez puts in Burbur for number 4, midway through the half Djoev is injured and is replaced by Da Cunha, Etienne runs through and finishes off the scoring.

Team Talk: Well, not much of a match to report as a totally one sided match for the champions elect, even the reserves are banging them in, just a shame Djoev got injured.

Which formation counter the narrow d these days? I used 4-5-1V early this season but was not the best performance and just checked July's table of formations and it says 3N-1-4-2 or 4-1-4-1 what do people suggest?
I used 3N-1-4-2 today against ND before pushing to 3N-5-2 V later on in my CL game but I did lead 3-1 going into the game and I was being cautious, dv8r says 3N-5-2 V is the best counter for ND.Quote:

Many of the players of the other 3 teams remaining have 6* players and there was a couple of 7* around as well. Ilknur ve Ozgur defeated Lora FC who has an 6* team and wait for it... 8* GK and ST (L20 playing in L21 league) and I knocked out SK Senec who are a full scout team... So without taking too much notice of the other side of the draw there were some serious contenders. Orange Crush AC put out Tapahka who were a big threat since they are friends of that bulgarian team that knocked us out the cup this season... again.
