Easy game and Petersen is the top scorer of both legs. The tie was over in the first leg and we played a semi-strong team. Petersen got a hat trick in the first half, a free kick early on gave us the lead. Then Agrba set him up for 2-0 before another free kick before half time made it 3-0. Nascimento came on in the 2nd half and scored a brace. A late Shlimazl goal finished off procedues.

We will play Ramon FC in the last 8 who went through on penalties.

easy 4-0 win at home in league using all my reserves with the champions league in mind later today. another home game with a 4-0 advantage from the away tie, some of my strongest players will play tonight some on the bench .

GOOD LUCK IN CL...at least "Helmet Cheese" is otherwise engaged in Columbia........for the time being

League 4: Cage FC: Rocky, manager-less start well behind us; After 15: 11-1-3, temporarily top, but team in 2nd a game in hand and they're playing a bottom feeder team. So, 2nd after all today's league matches run course.

3-1 up against 'Real Betis' [sigh] from the away first game in CL KO stage, should be comfortable enough putting them away tonight


As for my league 3 squad: thecageyones: Also 2nd, after their just as rocky start. This is my complete non-T squad, so happy with how they are progressing. They are 1-0 up from first round of the KO game against "Barcelona" [sigh, again] and should finish the job tonight at home, hopefully. They do have a couple of vital injuries.

Tomorrow might be much harder, the Team has a rematch against a Level 5 Team. We won 1 leg, but let's see how it's going on.

My Biggest Victory in a League!!!

So, I was knocked out from the CL today, although I won 1-0. My team is much better than the other team, but somehow he managed to win 2-0 at 1st leg (Don't ask me why). So, he realized that my team is better than his and played with a very defensive formation (5-4 (2DMC 2MC )- 1) .. I couldn't score more than 1.

The other match was also so important. I'm the second in my league (13-0-2), one of the teams that I lost against is the which I played against today. He is the third in the league. Fortunately, I won 3-1.

Tomorrow I have a very difficult match in the cup against a Fifth level team (I'm a 3rd level team). His midfield and attack are much better than mine, but his defence and goalkeeping are slightly weak. I won the 1st leg (4-1), but tomorrow's match is much harder because it is an away match, and because he bought many strong players after the first match.

FC Kneipenkick could close the gap to 9 points behind the first because Dortmund only played 1-1 today. But this gap is too big. It is good that FCK could come back into the season after that strange start where nothing worked and we nearly tanked the season.

Meanwhile Troll F.C. has a horrible league form and is only 6th, but plays ok in the CL. Today in the CL 1/8 finals there Troll managed a 2-1 extra-time win after a 1-1 away draw. Troll played 3W-5-2 vs. 4-5-1 (5 quality points less), but the away side managed to score with a penalty (36.). Jungwirth (38.) could make the equalizer only two minutes later, but saw red in second half. So the match got very close and went into extra-time. There a freekick by Hansen (110.) decided the match for Troll, who faces a scout buyer in the next round. :s

Edit: The scout buyer duell ended with a 2-1 away win fot the weaker side. So Troll F.C.'s cup opponent has only 6 points more quality instead of 12. The CL results this year are really strange.

I got my first sending off for a guy spitting today, had heard about it from others , but now have seen it for myself.....shame it wasnt directed at the ref.
