    New Season ?????

    well you can tell the new season is about to start the transfer market is going bonkers, but I carnt see my new league teams yet, so don't know if I need to strengthen my squad or not !!!. I won the level 2 league and now going into level 3 .I wish I could see the teams in my league a little earlier. for tactics formations etc. I don't want too, or shouldn't have too panic buy players this early in the season.

    What do other managers think about not being able to see who is in your league until the day it starts and the panick buying in the transfer market ????.

    It's already started!!! but League and Champions League start tomorrow.

    I don't like not seeing your league opponents until late tonight, really annoying, now that mainstream maintenance has gone, surely the league draw can be made earlier.

    doesnt bother me. infact, i like it

    you shouldnt have to panic buy either, there is no transfer window and the season doesnt end on day one. and one bad result doesnt make your season.

    i buy regardless of the quality in my league.

    The League seems to be drawn only taking manager level into account.

    I'm a scout buyer and my average quality is nearly scout level, yet I get drawn against teams who have average quality of 4 stars or less.

    Occasionally it'll stick someone with similar quality in my league.

    So if your team already has a decent quality for your level, I wouldn't worry

    Yeah at lower levels, it will be down to the regular non-token buyers fear of being drawn against a scout team, at my level almost every team is at least semi-active and playing, I've been in leagues where every team was at least semi-actively playing of some sort, It was only last season I had a league with 3 inactives.

    No panic buying needed - buy a few top rated players (either 5* or scout) on day one to play in your cup games and the league will look after itself, as others have said
