    Illegal formation query

I played a league game today (won 4-0). My opponent started with a 3-2-3-1-1 formation and the first half was pretty even. But in the second period, he had 2 players sent off (ML & MR), leaving him with no wide players. After that my team took control and scored 4 times.

My query is, did I just beat him through strength of numbers, or was he penalised for an illegal formation?

Both reasons, but you still would have beaten him easily if he hadn't got the players sent off anyway.

Two sent off, that would have been fun to play against.

I would say both, but when were the two red cards? I'll assume he had only the ML and MR on the left and right, so the first red card will already have made it illegal. Did you have a giant increase in possession after the first red card? Would like to know whether he was penalised for an illegal formation even though it wasn't really his fault. If so, then it's quite risky playing with 3 defenders, or 1 striker, or 1 player on each side.

Both counted but the most because of he's illegal formation helped you to create more chances to score.

Thanks for the imput. Both players were sent-off within 7 minutes of each other, just after the break. I hadn't noticed the possession stats up to that point, but it was 80/20 in my favour at the end. (Nobody else was watching). I've never known 2 players from same team to be red carded in a match. I will try to get a screen shot. Think its a bit unfair to penalise a player for something the game engine does.

Whilst I agree, game engines fault.
If he had been present he could have avoided the illegal formation by going four at the back. These things are sent to try us.

I think Flop Eleven is cheated games, because every game a new injurie, every game yellow cards and so on.

Lol yellow cards are normal. Looking at my last 5 matches, 2 injuries and 1 red card for a second yellow card, so could have been avoided if the manager had been online, seems completely normal to me.
