Tbh, I think Player Ratings are a joke. I've had players score twice in a match and get a 6! It seems sometimes that the ratings are a comparison of how a player has done against other players on the team ... So in the case above, that player scored twice and got a 6 whilst the MOM scored 4, with two assists and received a 9.

Doesn't seem right at all and would rather look at the goals/assists stats first.

My strikers always get above 8 if they score, Player ratings are a joke in my opinion.

Except for the MOM... all others numbers are a joke. MOM gives you one skill point extra.

Do you play a lot down the flanks? In this case your MC is forced into a more defensive role as he is not often included in attacks. I notice when I play flank attacks the ratings of MC are lower than with middle-formations like the 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond. It's also why I sometimes play 4-4-2 or 4-5-1V with mixed passing rather than flanks.

I play mixed style and only 2 red arrows on rm and lm rest is normal
