    Retiring/Old player

Did you know that a player can retire in the same year you buy him?

I thought he would stay for a year but I was wrong. I bought a 3* GK who is 33 years old for 1 token, free agent. I wanted him to be my back up GK because my current one is retiring and I like the idea of not spending any money on him.

To my surprise, he announced that he is retiring in 4 days..

When I first started playing t11,I had a winger who was 30 years old....Next season in level 2 he announced his retirement
I guess it's better not to take any chances with 30+ players...

My guess - when you sack a player (and you can sack a player of any age), he goes on an auction as a free agent, and if no bids are received, the player is gone (has dissapeared) forever. You cannot sell retiring players, you can only sack them, so with free agents this can happen. Beware of the free agent!
