    i really don't know how it can work in real life. some 3-0 win match has been decided in world cup qualification but not in play off round.

    I'm sure the offending team forfeiting gets expelled from the competition due to not being able to fulfil it's fixtures.

    As per my knowledge, if there is a draw on an aggregate in the 2 legs of any cup on champions league match, and both teams have equal no.s of away goals, then it is decided in the penalties. And that is what should have happened. The guy who had his team ready would have been able to be present 4 penalties while his opponent couldn't. So the guy with the complete squad shud have won!!!
