Dmc or mc

Hi, i'm new and cant find out how mutch possesion i will lose if i play with 2 dmc instead of 2 mc ?
This are The only center midtfielders i use, have never had lower then 52%possesion with The dmc, but will i Get a lot more if i move them up, and how important is it?

in my opinion, just 1 DMC/AMC is more than enough, and the rest 2-3 players in the centre of the field should be MC, that would be more balanced and help you gain higher possession; unless you're Roberto Mancini and want to apply an Italian super defensive style in your team

Normally they put 4-4-2 with 4 midfielders in one linear row: ML - MC - MC - MR. I think that would guarantee an equal distance between your midfielders and your defenders & strikers. I think that helps us gain more possession compared to 2 DMC, which is a little bit too "low" (defensive)

Thanks, but i think i rather take on st down as a cm, cz The WAY my defence play with 2dmc Makes it hard to score for The other team

How much possession are you getting with this formation? The last time I left the middle row empty, I had 20% possession, it seemed to be illegal somehow, I started getting normal possession when I moved a DMC to MC.
