Champions League Final day once again and it's no surprise to see favourites July Fourth reach the final once again, They will play against turkish side Ilknur ve Ozgur... Ilknur ve Ozgur are not the most powerful team out there but they are no mugs beating a stronger team in Lora FC which featured two 8* players 3-1 away from home to qualify for the semi-final 4-2 on aggregrate before beating Orange Crush AC 9-4 on aggregate in the semi-final, However for Ilknur ve Ozgur you would think July Fourth is maybe a step too far for them but in a final as we know... anything can happen.

Ilknur ve Ozgur tend to play a simple 4-4-2 classic formation which sometimes can be difficult to play against since there are many ways playing 4-4-2 since it's a balanced formation, July Fourth have had 2 big wins recently against 4-4-2 as well as a 0-0 draw in the league. In their team they have Alessio Zanellati who is a specialist 6* free-kick taker ST and has scored 21 goals this season, they have Matthew Comino a 7* Corner Taker MR with 27 assists and 6 goals this season, so they have firepower. We won the warm up in the League with 7:0 at home, our final is at 22:43 MEZ Summer Time, so for us it's kind of late. Whatever, the Final is against a League mate of the last Season he was second after our Team.

Perfect Tactics vs Extacy FC

This is the moment we've all been waiting for and this was the expected final. Perfect Tactics back in the CL final after a last season's absence. It's been a mixed season for us, lost our unbeaten status in the league and we're back in the CL final. Extacy haven't got the best of seasons, they lie in 3rd in the league but they seem to have very tough opponents so they have done fairly well. This will be a tough match for us, the quality difference shows that Extacy FC are underdogs but they are very strong. They were the only team in the group stage to win all their games and they came back from a goal down to win in the 2nd leg of the semi-final on penalties. They have good players and they are solid team of 5* + 6* players, most with special abilities.

Us on the other hand have a team almost full of 7* players with some 5* players and 6* players on the bench. But our results this season haven't all been going our way, we have been unlucky on several occasions and we have messed up great chances in many games. Our star player Petersen has 57 goals to his name this season, can he do it again and lift up another trophy? He has a scout striker with free kick ability that was bought from MR SCOUT and a corner taker who looks like an ex-scout.

We are not sure what formation they will be using but we suspect it will be the 4-3N-2W-1 or 4-1-3N-2 or 4-2-2-2 hexagon

It s been proved through the whole season that 1-1 ending sistems probably have an hidden bonus. All the matches i played so far against 1-1's were struggled over the normality, and i m talking about teams with 5-10 q less than mine. Weirdly enough, narrow diamond and 4-4-2 flat seems to be the counters for them, but in two days all bonuses given to formation will be changed again, i bet.

Trying to retain the CL this season you will notice from the link in Julys earlier post I was here last season & won an unexpected match. this game is a bit more of the same he is playing 3N-DML&R-2-1AM-2 I plan to counter with Narrow diamond with a view to change to Standard 4-4-2 if required. KO in 20 mins, will post the result. Going to give my team talk, hopefully I wont need the hair-dryer at half time.
