Cheated, extra time or sudden death

I'm pretty sure the problem is caused by lag like confuzzled said before, and if this is so, adding extra time wouldn't solve anything, and we'd have 67449986 people on the forums complaining that its BS that their opponent scored in extra time to win the game

I always look at my watch at the 89th minute when it takes too long to go to the 90th minute. I am lucky there is no 4th official.

It's called lag. If the time jumped from the 117th minute to the 120th minute it's lag. It's also not a cheat if someone strikes in the 117th minute.

That's not what lag is. It also isn't what the OP is referring to either.

Based on what I've seen, not all minutes have events in the game... it's not lag, it's how the game was made.

Yes but they don't just skip the minutes where nothing happens. And that's exactly what he's referring too.. he said the other team scored in the 117th minute, then instead of playing the last 3 minutes, it jumped right to 120.

I am pretty sure that there is nothing happening in those minutes to the timer just jumps to that time. I have seen it happen many times and not just at the end of the game.
