This is another tough Semi-Final for us but we have had many of those that have gone July Fourth's way after what could be described as a tough encounter, With an active manager and a name that associates with Liverpool, it reminds we of a undoing we recieved against LIVERPOON FT in the final quite sometime ago, ThE KoP will have to play very well and get their tactics spot on I feel to have a chance of beating us and of course have luck on their side. July Fourth have the potential to find another gear and put teams like this to the sword quite convincingly if they find their game. ThE KoP will be looking for a result that gives them a fighting chance of qualifying on Wednesday, while July Fourth will be aiming to win by 3 or more goals.

The KoP are a 6* team with their star player being 7* Omid Akbarpour, but it looks as if they have been doing a lot of tanking recently to get a squad like this as they have been playing T11 a lot longer than we have. Perhaps some power training is involved as well since green boosters can come in good supply in L21, Their best defenders are Antonio Cottini and defensive wall Damian Laba, Mohtar is their best striker with 19 goals this season and Sandiono is worth a mention with 11, Their prefered formation is Wide Diamond which is a formation that can cause us problems like it has done in the past.

Sakarayaspors manager changed his line-up 2 hours before the match. Thus I could not test a counter to 5-3N-AMC-ST.
Then he did not watch the match, so I got a comfortable win.

Still 5 rounds to go and we have a good position to become the champion in the league. If we are become the champion then is that the 3rd championship on the row. Last season we lost 1 game. Season therefore we were undefeated in the league.

Champions League Semis Match - Leg 1

FCB 3 - 0 Emrah FC

FCB - 39.7, 3n-1-4-2 | Emrah FC - 31.8, 4-4-2 Classic till 60' then 4-3-1-2 asymmetric

Its a tough match as expected but it is after half time only. We got early break through by Master who got excellent pass from Pavan and scored his first goal of the match. Again Master scored his second goal when he was 1v1 with Keeper. Just before half time Master scored his 3rd when he was again 1v1 with keeper and we had lead 3-0.


In the 2nd half, opponent changed the formation then the game became dull and both the teams tried hard to score but nothing worked out.

Our main ST Pavan created many chances but went wide/narrow wide off the post and we settled with 3-0.

Match Report: Beast Master proved himself one more time why he is a Vital player in FCB. Opponent was supported by another semi final competitor who is my Grand rival but my rival lost his home match.

I don't even know what happened at the start of match as it started and they scored, so thought here we go again, 4-4-2 no chance, we were getting overrun quite a bit but made the odd chance so for the second half decided to play thru the middle which made a difference but as time was running out went attacking and then hard attacking and then we found our way back into the match, Moreau scored on the hour after a free kick from Burbur and then 5 minutes later Burbur fired in the winner, we had taken control of the match and with 13 minutes to go Di Gennaro fired in a third.

Team Talk: I am well chuffed with this result especially as it was against the dammed 4-4-2 and I went a goal behind and it was all going wrong but just a few tactical changes and we pulled it around.

3-1-4-2 and 3-1-4-1-1 using normal mentality, zonal marking, own half, short passing, normal tackling, no counterattack and no offside trap.

Yeah we tried, I tried 3-1-4-2 in the reserve fixture and lost 2-1

managed a tough 2-1 away win against an illegal formation and they was there to watch also had team that was top supporting them so what goes around comes around anyway that leaves me 2 pts behind leaders after they drew today and i still have them to play.

in the semi final 1st leg of cup i`m 2-1 down and have to travel to them tomorrow but sure players can turn this round but in the champion league 1st leg semi final it`s 1-1 and again i travel away where this is going to much tougher to win

We had a hard time in this 1st leg, trying to find a way to play against our opponents and unlocking the door, After a stalemate in the first half where ThE KoP were the better team, It was a great defensive display from Hogan that kept the score level more than anything else and we hardly got forward, We tried to change to the X-mas tree and that didn't help either and with pressure from Mohtar and Akbarpour being dealt with from our defense it was a error from Knight that allowed ThE KoP to take a shock lead with a long range goal from Jensen, I had to change things again and brought on Michu and O'Sullivan and this had an immediate effect, Papaleo was able to soon start playing the attacking football as the striker made a run through on goal and take it round the keeper to level the score. Papaleo then gave away a free-kick to give ThE KoP another chance of getting another away goal but Ramirez blocked it, Just as the game was drawing to a close July Fourth took their chances with both the substitutes Michu setting up O'Sullivan to put us into the lead and at the end Calavicci on the counter attack showed the strikers how its done after he blasted his shot past the keeper to make it 3-1.

Team Talk: A disappointing performance from us for most of the game, but the substitutes and change of tactics soon got us out of jail late on in this 1st leg, but with ThE KoP having an away goal, we still need to play well in the 2nd leg to seal our place in the final on Friday.
