LEAGUE ROUND 25 - WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF HISTORY

    July Fourth 5-0 fc flakac

July Fourth 132.2 3N-1-4-2 - fc flakac 122.6 Narrow Diamond

With a lot of pre-match tension on the July Fourth players and fans faces you can feel that when playing for history it is never easy, flakac are the last team of any real strength that could get something out the game and they entered the game on good form without losing their last 6 league games, but July Fourth got straight to business and Pietropaolo made a move that got him in sight of goal but he was fouled on the edge of the penalty area, July Fourth were duly awarded the penalty and Papaleo sinked it into the bottom corner to give us the vital breakthrough, There was a scare on 16 minutes when Ozyakup fouled Kusama and caused the injury to our fine youth product, Beckett scored directly from the free-kick though to kill off any gremlins that may creep into the game.

July Fourth continued attacking throughout the 90 minutes and soon made it 3-0 with Pietropaolo knocking it past a defender and keeper to give us a comfortable lead at HT, flakac never threatend and were disappointing and Watson made it 4-0 from 25 meters, We subbed in 2 players for the CL final later, Michu got on the scoresheet in the 84 minute by beating the keeper in a 1v1 situation.

    Goals: Papaleo (4 PEN) Beckett (19 FK) Pietropaolo (44) Watson (56) Michu (84) MOTM: Beckett - 1pt
    Manager Points: Michu 3,Pietropaolo 2,Beckett 1
Injury Report: Kusama 5 days - 15 reds used

Team Talk: We played very well today and didn't allow any negative thoughts bother us at all and the result speaks for itself, We need to beat Neko to create club history tomorrow and also score 6 past them to get 100 goals this season.
