    Question illegal formation vs illegal formation, what will happen? lol

    I'm sending all by sub's and reserves in this match, I lost last two matches vs illegal formations (I know right?), so I'm throwing my own at him just for kicks and giggles haha

    Game will be played as if both teams have a legal formation, possession won't be 80-20 in any direction. Expect lots of cards and possibly injuries.


    Season 15 - Level 15

    League Winners (14) - Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
    26-0-0 league (4) - Levels 3, 4, 7 & 8

    I don't understand why one team had 20-80 punishment when both formations shown was illegal, when I tested this a long time ago it worked out at 46-54.

    I tested recently. What you and dvr said is correct. If both play with illegal formations, the engine treats as non-illegal formations.
    League Winner (5): 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9
    League Runner-up: 6
    CL Winner (5): 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9
    CL Runner-up: 7
    Cup Winner (3): 1, 2, 6
    Cup Runner-up: 3

    True.
    But as KoH realised, an abandoned team with not enough players will (or could) be given players in positions to make a legal formation. So always beware of playing abandoned teams.

    nope. not enough player will be punished by 3-0 lost. abandonned team usually has 20% ball possession because they have many player out of his natural position not beacause his formation is illegal.
    until he get 11 player to play (14 player inclus injured, cards) player will automatically fill in emty position to complete the last formation used before abandoning
