So im new and decided to give my squad alittle more depth. I purchased a couple of players. Hopefully you guys can give me some insight if i spent wisely or poorly.

The purple dot indicates the people i have bought this season.
we cant see their age. If you are on the lower level 1,2; chances are most if not all of the teams in your competition are inactive, weak teams. So you dont have to spend much; I would save tokens for higher levels 5+; again it depends on your server but most are weak in the beginning. I would not buy anyone lower than 5* unless they are 18-20 years old.
I guess its not too bad as a beginner, I can remember starting off and buying the odd 3* player to make up the numbers but you soon learn that it's only worthwhile to buy 5*, but of course that will depend on whether your on a old or new server, new servers tend to have bidding wars on the best players all the time. While old servers it's easier to get your hands on 5*, Since your profile says your from the UK you can spend a short amount of time each day 'watching videos' to farm some tokens.

GK = 22 ( 3* )
DMC = 25 ( 3* )
MC = 22 ( 5* )
ST = 27 ( 4* )
ST = 19 ( 5* )
ML = 23 ( 3* )
DMR/MR = 18 ( 4* )

Obviously the older players where purely to give me a few extra numbers as in the first two matches i played i suffered some injuries, and have suffered more since. The younger players ive bought hoping they will do me well next league, especially the st and mc i bought. ( Had a bidding war over both, but hopefully they grow into good prospects :3 )
And in reply to the token thing. Ive tried watching videos for anything cash/tokens/booters. None are ever available.
O and im currently saving my tokens for when i level up. Hoping this squad is enough to get me up. A few times even bots have thrashed me.
I would look to buy a 5* GK even if he is 28-31, he could be your starter this season and next one.

Let me make here a little off-topic in the thread, are You using all that blue and red arrows in your players during the matches?
If your UK, you should be able to watch vids for packs, also get friends that will send u all the boosters daily, religiously! Your team looks ok, stars look no bad and pretty good variety. It depends how it compares to the Quality in the rest of your league though (I trounced my first 4 seasons with pretty much the same kind of team, though others on here probably would have struggled with this team in there leagues). The key, for me is not to over spend when you don't need to. Its all very well having all scout level and above players, winning the league by ten points, no defeats etc but the reality is that your players will decrease pretty rapidly. Even a fast training 18 year old will decrease fast or cost you a lot in power training to maintain a high level. Id still buy as young, high priced and high quality as you can though as they are the fastest trainers (generally).
Yes i use those red and blue arrows in the match. And sadly i have 0 friends who play this game, so i struggle with that. Injuries are abit of a curse for me, as you can see, training my squad leaves them tired, and so far ive had 8 injuries this season ( its only a 9 game old season ) Though if anybody wants to friend me in the game be my guest :3
My league is 7 bots and 7 players. But it seems even when i dominate the match i lose.
And my orders are :
Hard attacking
Through the middle
Own half
Normal
Short
Man-On-Man
Force Counter attacks.
I picked this style as i dont have any real quality on the wings.
Welcome to the forum slick z your team seems good enough for. Your level . Use the tactics wisely don't go for hard attacking for a full game no wonder your players are tired . Try normal then attacking then defending check out how your team play with those orders . My advice would be its a big learning curve at 1st but at your level that won't matter too much if you get it wrong . Part or most of the fun is trying new things and learning from them so enjoy
you have too many players.16-18 are enough imo for low lvls.
at low lvls you dont have to spend all your tokens/money for new players,unless you want to always win the league.
its very easy to go to the next lvl(top 7) cs most teams are very weak or bot teams.save tokens/money for lvl 5+.
check forum for formations info.
every season you can get up to 35 tokens.if you want more you can buy or pray and watch videos who supposed give you free tokens^^
its a free game.you can make as many accounts as you like.all you need is a facebook account for each top11 account.
for examble,you can make one more team here,using a new facebook account(consider it your alt team^^),then make your 2 teams "friends"
and send 1 gift every day from one team to another(like 1 red boost)^^
make 3 alt teams and you can have every day all 3 gifts for your "good" team^^
there is no rule against it.no rule which not allowed having multiple accounts/top 11 teams.
others do it,others dont.its up to you.
and also never forget that NGE its a bit "crazy"^^(check forum about that too)

I think your team looks pretty good, everyone has given you good advice, sorry if i repeat:
Hard attacking realllly isn't good. I only use it when I have tried everything else, live, during a game.
If you haven't been building facilities, do it now, and keep something always building. Especially the turf!! but you haveta upgrade everything to get nicer grass to cause less injury. A couple other things that have seemed to help me with ouchies is not to use hard tackling, ever; also i have put many skill points on the physical column, the older the player the more I allocate for that.
I log on a couple times a day to do training so my players are never below 70%.
I like a full squad, but also some flexibility, so I train multiple positions - to be able to cover the whole field for subbing, and also to be able to change module during the match live.
I use zonal marking and usually have the best goal difference, I would only use m v m if they *only* have quality front line.
Stay up late or get up early when looking for bargain players. You can get free agents for nuthin' if you are patient. My first couple seasons i left a spot open to snatch up any good deals -- even if i wound up reselling them, it added to my budget.

For the vid you might have to disable some or all of this:ad blocking, pop-up blocking, script blocking, and you might check firewall settings.
Like others have said, don't waste tokens on anything less than 5* players.
At lower levels I turned over my entire squad every season - and I've never bought a token - so i didn't worry too much about age until I got to around level 5. Just avoid players over 30 as they might retire on you and deprive you of the much-needed resale money. Even at higher levels you can't train a player fast enough to keep him useful for more than 2-3 seasons (unless you're buying tokens)

Also could someone shed some light on the 3 skills ( defense attacking physical ) I train my defenders in defending but most of them just improve handling. And attackers learn passing.
Nah dude its not wise to add people from your league, they can play u in friendlies before your league games n tire players, injure them etc. Youll pic up friends as you go along.

I think you spend wisely if your players perform well. If you sell a low 7-8 performer that is always good morale and quickly rested, and buy a low performing 5 star that you constantly have to boost, then maybe not such good trade-off. I have a really good MC that constantly misses on his shot in the comments. I will boost his attack but more then likely I will be selling him. I also have a 3 star forward that always scores. I am trying to figure out why but he is gold boot for three seasons. I will keep him no matter what.
You must stop using the red and blue arrows for everyone and no one seems to be using man on man. I only use man on man when my defense players numbers are larger then the opposing forwards and I line them up to match with the blue arrows. The arrows put your players in those positions and the game will lower their fitness numbers. If you insist on using arrows, make sure you boost the fitness numbers for those players when assigning skills.

Well thanks to all the great advice, and giving me alittle better understand on the game, ive won 6 in a row, scoring 22 goals and conceding 1. 4 of those games where against the players around me.
One thing i have noticed is morale, some of my players there morale isnt dropping ( 2 x ST | 1 x MC | 1 x DC ) These players dont seem to drop while the rest of my team do. The DC is my captain and the ST's are my top scorers with 8 & 7 ) But i cant figure it out. Last game my entire squad was 8/9 form. While my MR was a 4. His morale is bascially 0.
Sell him if it's a pattern. Some guys just don't work on a team, I had a *very* expensive guy with awesome stats, that never got better than a 6. But, you could also try training him, look at his stats, compared them with your happy players, and see if you can make changes there.
So ive looked at one of my major under perfomers, 18 4* DMR/MR player. His form is 4-5-4-6-5 compared to my other midfielders who are a constant 7-9. Ive tried selling him ( Minimum i can set is 550k, but nobody seems to want him ) And without the sale of a player i cant at this moment replace him. Should i keep him until end of season then replace?Quote:

Oh yeah, I don't think anybody has warned you about that little surprise you have coming. When you go up a level, the number of points a player needs to achieve a star ranking goes up by 5. I can't remember what the low level star ratings are, but let's say a player with an average of 25 is a 5* player. Come the end of the season, that player will still have 25 points, but now to be a 5* player you need 30 points, so he drops down to a 4*. That is why there is a buying frenzy at the start of the season.
Also, the older they get, the slower they improve, so it gets harder to recoup their stars. It's great if you are on a server with loads of teams above you, they will clear out their 2* and 3* which to you may be 4* or 5*, like when premiership players drop down a division or two.
