Hi all
I am currently 2nd in champions league with the last game to go against 1st. He beat me 1-0 in the first game and I was at home. If I beat him tonight 1-0 we will have the exact same for/against and same points. Who is 1st/2nd??
Cheers

and goals scored of both?
they go with away goals for deciding otherwise equal, I believe
But if i beat him 1-0 this time we will both have the same away goals against each other and the same point and for/against. If it's 2-1 I will be fine (I think) but is there another tie breaker after for/against and then away goals?
Uhm, if you're in group stage 1 and 2 advance. Possibly goal difference. Maybe someone who is really smart can figure this one out. :)
if you win 1-0 then it will go to g/d if you win 2-0 then you go top with 2-1 agg if all the same pnts and gd then it will go to who scored more but if all the same then alphabetacle
If I only beat him 1-0 everything will be the same, if it is 2-1 it will be the same still but I will have scored 2 goals at his home and he only scored 1 at mine. Alphabetical? Really. Wow, sucks to be him! My team is called Rogue Warriors and his is Sporting Lattus. Just got to make sure I win now!!
Alphabetical? I dont believe thats a rule. It is usually decided by a coin flip, but in this case a random coin flip or just a random pick, so my advice is to win 2-0. maximum win bonus regardless of the cost. full condition and morale for all players. try to counter his formation but with a bit more offense than usual.
In this game, the 1st and 2nd are not decided by their confrontations but by the for and against goals of all the 6 matches.
from the wiki:
After six matches, the two best teams advance to the play-off. Top Eleven's ranking rule is slightly different from the UEFA Champions League rule, as the main criteria is goal difference, not match results from the teams in question. The play-off system is the same as the Cup system – you play two matches against the same opponent and the winner, in case of a tie, is decided by the “Away Goals Rule”, or by penalty kicks. The finals are played on a neutral venue which is usually the larges stadium on the server.
If 2 teams are locked together on points/GD/GF/GA in the group stage then it comes down to a toss of a coin basically.
Brilliant! Why did nobody else think of that? That answers the OP's question perfectly which I know is something you're particularly keen on. Really, give yourself a pat on the back buddy.
And as July pointed out, if both teams are equal on all counts (goals for/against, away goals, head-to-head) it's a coin toss to decide 1st and 2nd.
