4-4-2 formation

I dont know if it me or the team i got but i have notice my normal thing to play against 4-4-2 is not working, i use 4-5-1v that seems to have very few shots and 4-1-2-1-2 diamond, does anyone else notices thing they used in the past that worked great but this time it not the same?

The 4-4-2 is the endless enigmatic formation of this game. Sometimes the V formation works sometime it doesn't, same for diamond. You'll manage to overcome a stronger 4-4-2 but get your ass kicked about against a much weaker team.
I've experienced it all in the last 3 days. Did a ND against an opponent in League, won 8-0. Did the same in Cup, lost 2-0.
The V formation, Narrow Diamond and Butterfly are usually used against the 4-4-2, but I also think a lot of luck takes part when facing that kind of formation.

4-4-2 this season has been a nitemare, no matter what formation i change to i can`t beat it, only one left which will try later`s

I think every season t11 has a formation that is the best and the one to play, this season i recon it is 4-4-2 i have never had problems before beatting it but now i am just scrapping games and i seen a lot of people who have play what i thought was the right formation to counter it and its not work even when they had the stonger team

Yeah I think you're right. 4-4-2 is the gran daddy of this season. I think I'll try it soon.

I switched to 4-4-2 today, i wanted to see if it was as good as i thought this season plus it countered my opponent reasonably well. I was 7Q better than my opponent but had a guy sent off in the 3rd minute and won the game 3-0, i never watched the game either

The fact that you won once against 4-4-2 using butterfly, doesn't make butterfly the definite formation to counter 4-4-2 with this season. It can work but it can just as well fail.
