YEP i`v tried 4-1-2-1 -- 4-2-4 -- 3-1-4-2 and no joy

i can counter 4-4-2 at last as i won 5-0 against 7th in league and there team was stronger than mine

The fact that you won once against 4-4-2 using butterfly, doesn't make butterfly the definite formation to counter 4-4-2 with this season. It can work but it can just as well fail.
