My closest rival this season has thrown it all away !!! he was in 2nd place after 11 games had just lost 2 (his 1st game and his 11th ) we were to play week 12 so watched his 11th game he (for the 1st time this season) started with a illegal formation and soon went down 2-0 he changed formation and won the game 3-2 . Lesson learnt one would think . But against me he started with same illegal formation and oop ?? (even put mc in goal). He soon went down 2-0 so here comes the change I thought !! he put a keeper in goal but no formation change. he lost that one too.

now he has played the next three with this illegal formation and has lost them all !!! really don't know what he is thinking maybe tanking ( but from 2nd place 5 points behind, with me to play ) ?

Really wish sometimes we could interact and I would ask or tell him about illegal formations !!!!

Some people set up a weird formation to deceive other managers then change it at the last minute, an attempt to hide your planned formation. I tried it for a while. I set up a "mystery" formation which had all the players arranged so it looked like a question mark. I posted it on here ages ago, I might try and search it out.

The danger is, if you arrive too late, or not at all, you are stuck with this. Might be what he is up to.

I just looked at my photo there. I still have one of those players.

Ahhh what a team that was, makes me dewy eyed looking at them. They were a good bunch of lads, not like today's mercenaries, these boys played with passion and fire for minimal wages. They scored for fun. They worked hard and played hard. True we didn't have the best facilities back in those days, but did they care? No. They just pulled on their boots and played for the badge. Proper footballers. The good old days I tell you, when football was a man's game, not like these modern sissies who fall over and writhe on the floor in a puff of wind.....

Except for Robinson. He was crap then and he's crap now. I really don't know why I've kept him on. Where's that SACK button.......

Probably thinks he is a genius, outsmarting you with his excellent in game tactics, as he watches his expert changes counter that solid pressure you were putting his team under.

It would be a shame to disillusion him now wouldn't it?
