Disgusted by constant rip -offs

After 5 seasons I have had to register on here to vent my disgust on how the game has changed.

I am having major problems with injuries every game. I am now in season 5 and I have had injuries in every season but normally have 1 player injured all the time in seasons 1 to 4. At the end of last season and this season having played 14 games in the league I now ALWAYS have 4 players injured, when 1 player recovers then immediately another player gets injured and replaces him.
I use red recovery tokens to reduce injury time and always rest the player fully before playing him again or he gets injured again but then another player gets injured instead.

Also I have stopped bidding on players in the transfer market due to excessive bidding by I believe Nordeus, if I have 4 tokens I win the player but if I have 24 tokens it uses all of them to win 1 player, THIS is not a coincidence because its happened lots. I now just buy scouts as its cheaper in the long run and they last for 2 seasons instead of 1.
My scouts after only 3 games manage to break their leg and are out for 12 days, this has happened to four of my last 5 scouts. DISGUSTING rip off NORDEUS, sort it out or I will be another lost customer.

I can understand that they need to make money but they have to be fair and not fleece us or they will lose out and go bankrupt

This is very normal to me you sound very lucky in your first 4 seasons. bidding on the transfer market can be difficult but I never go beyond 3 tokens for a player. I refuse to try and get involved in a bidding war . You have been unlucky with your scout players I'm sure you look after them and rest them though Right ??

It seems by your comments especially as you say it happens a lot when bidding you spend/buy lots of tokens ? this may have an influence by Nordeous to try make you spend more, but the reality is that it's your choice to spend money or not. Many can and do play the game without spending money at all !!!! and do very well.

Hope your luck changes soon Don't think you will get an answer from them !!!!!!!

When I am in an optimistic frame of mind, I view these as extra challenges that are laid before me, somewhat like the real life game, or real life in general. I take pride in rising to and overcoming the challenges and afterwards I have a little satisfied grin on my face and say a silent "well done" to myself.

Unfortunately, I don't reach that Zen place too often and most days it just PISSES ME RIGHT OFF!

Glad I am not alone, the game does seem to be against those that stay with the game and compete, especially when you read this forum, 70+ pages on the rant thread speaks volumes. Aint nowt like keeping your loyal customers happy.

AND dont forget the fact that nobody who runs the game EVER replies (according to other forum posters).

On their head be it, I certainly will not be asking my friends to join.

Well another game and yet another injury, just as I get 1 player back tomorrow then another is out for 5 days.

I flatley refuse to spend anymore on tokens until the management stop this constant victimization against its loyal customers

Funny enough my game this morning my player was injured only 3 days though and yes you where very polite !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont mind and I expect the odd injury but 3 to 4 injured players constantly for long periods is not normal. This is my 5th season so I know what to expect. It all started at the same time as when watching videos to earn boosters and medical tokens so its trying to force us in buying tokens, NOT happening. At the end of season4 I had a full squad and reserves with 5 injuries so didnt even have enough subs.
I have all my players on full intensity training as theyre all under 29 and only train them once a day so I am not power training.

im just trying not to take the game too seriously anymore, im just banking my 7th season, getting my daily tokens, upgrading my stadium, and doing a few friendlies, Ill probably bank another season or two just to get cheap 5* players from the list, at the highest level of the server i was just competing with too many token buyers and had a list full of 3*.

Now im comfortably sitting on a heap of cash, sold my best players in the season start bidding craze, and watching my players lose one game after the other (2 wins so far this season). In two seasons I might have enough tokens for 3 scouts and can start getting a good team again.

Stop healing with red packs. I have stopped that almost entirely based on what people have said on this forum. I still have injuries but not as much as I used to get. I am up to 92 reds this season, saved, with only one player out for 1 more day. Start playing with players out of position instead:

your best MC gets injured - play an AMC instead.
your best DMC gets injured - play a DML/DMR.
Your best ST gets injured - play an AMC
Hell, I even see STs play as DC and still have a good game.

Just find a player that is close to the position you need and go with it. the penalty should not be harsh and most people I read about on this forum find that they do well when they do this.

stop healing and let them go naturally for injuries of 5 days or less. anything more than that = sell and replace. My friend has stopped healing altogether last season and now has over 200 red packs = nice to have in emergencies.

One of teams has a tiny squad, I have just signed a couple of cheap old boys as cover, but when I have an injury, I try to look ahead at the games coming up and leave it as long as possible before the red packs come out. Emergency only.

Likewise, I am now using the greens to give a little boost pre-match, otherwise I try to let them recover naturally.

I have no idea what I am doing right (plenty of friendlies?) but I have a large stock of blues.

With you 100% here. I haven't used a red pack to heal players for nearly 2 seasons and currently have 287 of them. Sure, I still get injuries, but not so often, and very rarely any that are longer than 3 days. With a full squad of 22 players, I have most positions covered at least twice.

That is true. But I still think that quick healing and throwing the player back in too quickly, does make the risk of further injury more likely (as in real life).

Found that out in the first season so always let a recovering player build up his energy and then sub him the first game when back up to full energy and play him normally the second game and this stops him re injuring.

So it looks like if you use red packs as much as possible the game thinks your buying them and thinks its going to earn money out of you so constantly ensures you have at least 3 players injured at any given time? as my posting suggests then RIPPING loyal game players off until they stop playing. Isnt this counter productive as the business/game will lose out?

They must think it pays or they would not write it into the engine?
I am a true Yorkshireman so hate being conned and refuse to buy anymore tokens. I will try as suggested and stop using red packs but its unfair when its normally a newly purchased scout that is out for 12 days. Remember whilst he is out for 12 days he cannot improve his ability so becomes useless the following season thus making it pointless buying him in the first place.

So if scouts get injured if you buy only scouts then they are trying to get us to bid on auctions, this has also recently become a farce as I have already mentioned due to only a very few players of decent ability being auctioned per day which as you know ensures everyone is bidding on the same players. These quality players rarely have a special ability anymore so the game is wanting you to spend more tokens on gaining an ability. Someone will now probably tell me to forget about special abilities and the auctions will start offering you players? Its a bit "Chinese" as they say here, I have noticed that teams in their seasons 14 to 17 have no players with any special abilities so are they wise to this already?

Its a strange game engine me thinks Ha HA

Well at least I cant say the game is not consistent, my latest scout on game two in first 5 mins was injured and is out for 4 days for a calf strain. Another injury which goes nicely with my 2 banned players

Well I took the advice of posters on here and decided to play a friendly and now I have another player injured so back up to 4 injured and 2 banned so I dont even have enough players for full subs.

2 more injured last night so I sold them both as they wont be good enough for next season and boh injured for 6 days so down to only 2 reserves.

That left me with only 2 injured players.

Todays games resuled in ANOTHER 2 injured players, 1 of which for 6 days and the other for 4 days , Oh and dont forget my MC is banned for tomorrows Champions league semi final so I am down to only 4 subs for the semi.

If I keep selling injured players I wont have a team to compete soon but whats the point in keeping them if they are out till next season and they will have lost another star and be worth less ?

I am losing the will to play VERY quickly, STOP the flipping injuries you stupid numpties

Well with a new scout injured for 12 days, you have to waste the red packs. That is just common sense. It sucks large, but sometimes you just have to grin and bear it.

I have a total of 18 players.
2 days, 3 matches ( 1 league, 1 cup, 1 Champions League).
first match : 2 injuries
second match: another 2 injuries. I used my last redpacks to recover the first 2 injured players and now the bomb comes...
third match: 3 injured players
it constantly keeps me with 4 or 5 injuries...i have to change my squad 15 times per season to have 11 players able to play.
i`ll stop using redpacks to see if there`s any change. hope it will work, i`m getting pretty tired about this stupid injury problem.

It happens all the time and the key is to NOT waste the red packs unless absolutely necessary. It should only be an emergency. Seriously.

I lost 2 of my 4 MC's yesterday one in the game and one after the game, training (he was not used so was full condition). 4 players in total in 2 days. here goes:

12/10: played game. Heavy ankle strain = 5 days (DMC).
12/10: training. Ankle strain = 2 days (MR/DMR).
13/10: training. Heavy Ankle strain = 5 days. (notice any patterns?) This was full (99%) condition. first thing logging in. Practice match. (MC)
13/10: training. Dislocated shoulder = 4 days. Immediately after practice match was the cardio and this happened. (MC)

I carry 4 MCs as I have a full squad of 22 and have cover for all positions. but to take out 2 in 2 mins is strategic on Nordeus's part. It usually happens that 2 of my 3 STs will get injured within a day of each other or 2 DC's. but the past 2 weeks it was ACL injuries, 5 of them. It is like they added a few new injuries in the Troll Engine database and they wanted to show them off.

Thankfully that account is 7pts in the clear for 1st, so I have some breathing room, but I have 90 reds and counting. my best account has 248 reds and just got an injury yesterday from training= 3 day concussion.

I usually dont complain about the injuries as they should be part of the game, but it is quite obvious that they target the best players and/or groups of positions, in order to persuade you to waste the red bags. This game is getting to be like a crooked routlette table.

this Season i think i get above 30 injury maybe more...and about 20 red card.... (note: my tacking style always make in normal )

I made an account just for this. I started playing only a few days ago. So this many injuries isn't normal?
