I usually play defensively even if my team is much stronger than that of the opponent. 4-1-4-1 and 4-4-1-1 are my way to go My striker always have one-on-one scorer SA and AMC with shadow striker SA. My striker and AMC often score pretty much the same number of goals ^^

I will only play 3 STs if I have nothing to lose. I prefer my men on midfield to take ball possession and feed the ball to my ST with one-on-one SA rather than to have a weak midfield that does not create many chances for STs.

You should get one with one-on-one SA and add skill points to his attacking. I believe when he's facing with the goalkeeper, his finishing skill is +5. Some people prefer more balanced players, but for me, I just add only skills points to his attacking attribute, and focusing on strength and speed in his mentality attribute, because when he's facing with the GK, his finishing skill is what matters, I believe.

By doing that, my ST has world-class or even super-star shooting and finishing skills when facing with the opponent's GK.

I always use one striker. So i can use five midfielders (aml and amr) and gain possession. But if you want do that, you need use offensive midfielders to balance the only striker. I prefer that (dmc-2mc-aml-amr) or (mr-2mc-ml-amc) and one striker.
    But remember: offensive midfielders.

Offensive midfielders mean midfielders who have a lot of points in attack. For example: if you are on level 4, your strikers and your midfields must have between 35 and 40 points in attack. I mean you must assign the most of skill points on attack.
