    No. But you will lose nearly every game, its illegal and you will only have 20% possession, so don't use it, unless of course you want to lose a game.

    You need 3 defenders.

    I tried something similar, but as Julius Quatro said, it's illegal because of only 2 defenders. drop the defensive flankers back, with red arrows, passing down the flanks and it works well against some formations.

    darn it!! i was on top of the league and tried this formation, i lost three games before realizing it was illegal formation and now i'm on the third place!!

    I would of said 4-2-3-1 for barcelona but I heard they also use 4-3-3.

    Yeah, it's 4-5-1V, and also 4-3-3, but not flat, depends how you look at it. Busquets is the holding midfielder, he can be classed alongside Iniesta and Xavi, but plays slightly further back, and the wingers can push forward to join Messi as wide forwards.

    How would it be a 4-2-3-1? Busquets is definitely behind both Iniesta and Xavi.
