3-1 victory in cup's second leg make us through the final on 8-1.
Ofc troll engine decided that since we werent watching but using light tackle our ST (yeah .-.) was booked at 89' hence will miss the final. He's by far our best scorer this season. On top of that on league's match minute 1 our reserve ST got injured for 4 days...
Wish I knew, that's a weird one. I would be tempted to just play my favorite formation. (maple leaf) but then maybe change during match if no joy...

I generally do not start him (his job is to be a sub) so this was not unexpected.

Three second half goals secured our win after some resolute defending by Manchester in the first period, looked to be frustrating us. Against the bottom team, we pounded their goal in the first 45 minutes, but the ball just wouldn't go in the net. We brought on defender Brandon Gonzalez at half time for the ineffectual winger, Jake Brown, and pushed DR, Matthew Wood forward into midfield. The change of personnel, seemed to do the trick, and 3 goals in eleven minutes, just after the hour, changed the game. On 61', Homer Simpson fired a free kick past the helpless goalkeeper. Six minutes later, Jacob Wilkinson went on a run and finished with a superb strike. Simpson grabbed his second from another free kick, five minutes later to end the scoring. Despite his brace of goals, Simpson was denied man of the match, as the award was given to Wilkinson.
The win was our 17th of the league season and with 2 draws, we now have 53 points, and a 9 point lead over the two joint second placed teams. So 4 points from the remaining 4 games would be enough for us to win the league trophy. Tomorrow we play away in Denmark against our old rivals, PTO Alcudia, who are currently 7th with 35 points.
On the player front, 31 year old, club captain, Jack Daniels has announced his intention to retire at the end of the campaign after a long association with the team.
Is he going to go start making whisky? ;)

Successful Cup-Evening for FC Dreamhunter and FC Sakura
After a 1-2 loss at home Dreamhunter had to face the side of FCB away in Paris - and they played with the naughty 4-4-2! After 10 minutes FCB lead 1-0, but just a couple of minutes later the in-form midfielder Markus Schatz scored his 15th goal this season for the equalizer. Three minutes later it was Boris Marchal who hadn't scored for six games who delivered the 2-1 for Dreamhunter. Just before halftime it was Marchal again who scored his second goal of the game - later he was awarded MoM. In the middle of the second half FCB scored the 2-3 and suddenly their ball-possession rose. After changing an AMC to a DMC we could seal the win and with the away-goals we reached our first ever Cup-Final!!!
Our formation was - 3-0-4-1-2, Attack, mixed, counter; in the last 20 minutes we changed to 3-1-4-0-2
FC Sakura also won 3-2 away, but it was a far easier game after having won at home 2-1 and leading after 20 minutes with 2-0. The new striker Radenkovic scored again and fellow striker Trabelsi was also two times successful. So this team not only won its league yesterday but also reached the Cup-Final for the first time. We will play against a team from Indonesia with a 4-4-2 formation. I hope that the same tactics I used yesterday with the Dreamhunter-team will work.
I probably will not win the league, but wil finished in top3 with the Best atack, infortunatly need to do something about the defence next season.
I am in the final of the cup with my first Team on level 3 and with my second Team on level 2.

We have won our 7th League Title, the third consecutive. There remain other to play 3 league games, if we win all 3 we made the "perfect season" 26 0 0 like in level 1, in level 3 and in level 7. Also we can establish our new record of goals conceded (3, previous record is 4 in level 3 and in level 7) in a league.
Should you complete the Perfect Season you will share the forum record for the most 26-0-0's with Perfect Tactics at 4.Quote:

We played against the nr 2 today. Only against him we lost in the league. But not today we smashed him:D. Both managers were present and both managers had 1 supporter. I started with 4-5-1 v style against 3w-1-2-1-1(amr)-2. After we scored 2 goals opponent switched to 3w-6-1. He scored 1 goal. I responded with 4-1-4-1 with succes. In the second half he changed to 3-3-2-2 and I switched to 4-4-2 with succes.

Well here it is... The revenge match, however winning this won't really make much difference as the damage is already done. They defeated us 1-0 earlier in the season and their win came with a lot of luck. We were not around to watch the game but we know they were exceptionally lucky to win their game. Now we are back with vengeance and are looking to inflict defeat on them which will ultimately end their title chances. A win will still keep us 8 points clear with 3 games to go as Esi FC won earlier today. We were looking for another 26-0-0 this season and was possible until this team got in our way so it looks like we will be aiming for the 25-0-1, a much less impressive result.

Well.. What can I say? Other then our opponents getting their just deserts. They deserved to lose today, our opponents are utter clueless and this win is payback for their lucky win earlier in the season. Revenge does feel sweet. Nascimento opened the scoring with a long range strike on 3 minutes and from there we just cruised to victory. Van der Zande found space to create a goal for himself for 2-0 and then Joey got his 2nd goal in 2 games for 3-0, quite a start for the rising star. Things got worse when Barbaras was shown a straight red card for a bad tackle, however we did not capitalise from the free kick and corner. But the man advantage showed in the 2nd half, Nascimento getting his 2nd goal of the game from a solo effort, going 1 vs 1 with the goalkeeper and putting it away for 4-0. We then brought on Petersen who set up Nascimento from a corner, for his hat trick and our 5th goal of the game. Our opponents could not handle the pressure and were quite fortunate to only concede 5 goals at this stage, however we did manage to get a 6th goal in the last kick of the game. Nascimento was through on goal and fed Warmwater for an easy tap in. Redemption.

The token buyer in my CL won 4-2 to progress into the finals. He won 4-3 on aggregate so i think he was a bit fortunate!

Like you, I'm waiting on the outcome of the 2nd leg between vigo teis futbol and Milk FC, Milk FC lead 3-1 from the 1st leg, but no doubt I believe that vigo will probably smash them being at home and get through to the final against us and no doubt it will be a tough game, If we play Milk in the final I can't see how Milk can trouble us.Quote:

We won the first leg and got relief. We got very early break through when opponents player attacked Wibowo in the box and got us penalty and Pavan converted with out any problem at 1'. We got another goal in no time when Belmonte through defense and pass it to Ammi and Ammi scored a wonderful goal at 5'.
After this goal game was dull till 83' minute when opponent's player Abdullah converted a corner in to goal. But just after that minute opponents player tripped Wagner and injured him and Pavan converted that free kick in to a goal and we finished off with 3-1
Team Talk: It is not tough as we thought and we are in CL final.
we dont know who is our opponent in final. Strong team TC Bora was beaten 2-0 by Brinny Allstars in leg 1 at home. TC Bora is going play away match in leg 2 and I think TC Bora will come back.

Plenty of possession and pressure and we had more shots on target but we could not break them down, they they took the lead on 20 after their striker broke free and finished well, so into the second half and a change of formation which saw us create more chances but with 7 minutes remaining their striker finished us off with a header from a corner and 5 minutes later they hit us on the break to finish us off.

Jack Daniels scored the only goal of this close match in Denmark, which gives us the win that ensures the title. Sani Negedu crossed after 29 minutes, and Daniels leapt above the defenders to head firmly home. From then on it was a dour midfield battle. Sergio Bilbao came on as substitute for Negedu after 70' and was booked within 2 minutes. Defender Declan Jones picked up the man of the match award.
Today's three points, coupled with other results, mean we now lead the league by 10 points, with just the three games remaining, so we are CHAMPIONS already. Tomorrow we play Andrew FC at home, who are 3rd in the table. We will be able to relax and hopefully play without pressure.

We decided to give a lot of my B team members a run out here given that we done the hard work in the 1st leg, There was a shock as Kocaspor scored at the start of the game when van Hees shot from distance to give Kocaspor a little bit of hope of coming back into the tie but it was short lived once Pietropaolo got hold of the ball and broke clear to eventually square off for Michu to kill off the tie with us getting the away goal, Kocaspor almost scored again near the end of the first half when Costa passed to van Hees who really should of scored, In the second half Michu showed what he can do when he beat the keeper in a 1v1 situation to put us ahead on the night, we scored from a double corner with Michu providing an assist for Regal to header in for his first goal for July Fourth, Michu had an excellent chance to finish his hatrick but missed a sitter.
