League Level 1. Our first (real) season and with two matches left nothing is certain. We will finish either 1st or 2nd. Today BVD Kicker had a clutch win against Le Cardinal FC. Coupled with our win against sp'r flook, and we now hold a 55-50 pt advantage over Le Cardinal. A win in rd 25 clinches the league. A draw will most likely clinch as well, because of GD. A loss makes for a very entertaining final match. Le Cardinal's final match is against verdolaga FC and ours will be against Alonso FC. Very exciting stuff. ;-)

Plenty of possession and pressure and we had more shots on target and totally overwhelmed our opponents, Suljevic headed in a Sanchez corner after 5 minutes to give us a dream start and on the half hour, Turpin's long ball forward found Johansen who found himself one on one with the keeper and he gave him the eyes and wrong footed him to add to our advantage as we go into the break, Di Gennaro came on for the ineffective McNamara at the start of the second half and with 17 minutes remaining he blasted in number 3 from 25 meters, with only 3 minutes remaining Suljevic got his second after a classic counter attack.

Team Talk: This wipes out yesterday's horror show and we are now 2 points behind with 2 to play but we have harder run in and looks like I have found a nice little counter to 4-4-2

At 18.49 pm will start the kickoff from the final of the champions league.

We are the favourite but we don't underrestimate the opponent. He shall play 4-3n-2-1. I have looking all the games he played in the CL and never changed the formation.

Can we do it to win the CL for the 4th time on the row ??? We shall see it tommorow.

LONDON CITY 5-1 ANDREW FC

With the title already clinched, the team seemed to play with freedom today, against what should have been tough (3rd place), opponents. Jacob Wilkinson (3 goals + 1 assist), Wayne Dixon (1 goal + 3 assists) and Homer Simpson (! goal + 1 assist and man of the match), grabbed all the headlines, but it was a good all round team performance. Wilkinson started the scoring, volleying home a cross from Simpson after 10 minutes. Andrew equalised with a fine effort 9 minutes later. Wilkinson netted his second on 36', this time from a pass from Dixon, to make the halftime score 2-1. We then went goals mad, scoring three times in two minutes between 50 & 52 minutes. Wilkinson completed his hat-trick again from a Dixon pass. On 51', Dixon laid on another goal, this time for Simpson to head home. And straight from the restart, Wilkinson turned provider, to set up Dixon for our fifth. The last 28 minutes could produce no further goals so it finished 5-1.

We still have a 10 point lead and now only have matches against mid-table sides. Tomorrow we play away to Bosnian side, CELZI who beat us earlier in the season. They are currently 7th with 36 points (we have 59).

As club captain, Jack Daniels is retiring after the last two matches, we have decided to make our final game (home to Banchory FC), a testimonial for Jack, and will be charging half price for all spectators.

Hey July. I know I should know this after all this time playing, but can you confirm for me that any of my players that are out of contract at the end of the season, will still be in my squad for a few days next time, so I can renew their contracts then. I don't want to lose 4 current scout players, just because their contracts are up.

I supported #3 in his absence against #1 today, with home Arrowford + 1 supporter, he managed a draw. :)

However, that is the team I play next, an all 5* top ~11 playing 3 1 4 2. I haven't decided which module I want to start my guys. Any ideas welcome,

Well, I don't have any other players that are worth wasting greens on. He's a player that trains very fast so I decided to just get him a special ability, didn't cost me any tokens and I figured that I will need an AMC that scores many goals since my striker next season will be 3 stars only and pretty useless. I couldn't afford to buy any different players because I don't have any money.

Easy win

Team Talk: Only one match to go for perfect season 26-0-0.

Cupfinals

FC Dreamhunter - Omaris FC 4-0

An unexpected win for our side brought the final game. Omaris FC was packed with 7* and 8* Players while our side primarly had players with 5* and 6*. The other manager was not present - which obviously helped. The game did not start very well as after 13 minutes my left defender got injured - so I had to substitute him with a player who does not know this position. Anyway, it seems that we found the perfect tactics to beat him. We were ahead 1-0 by halftime and 2-0 in minute 79. In the last ten minutes the squad scored another two goals and finally gave our team the first Trophy ever!!!

Two hours later the second squad was also successful and secured the League-title - but on this day it was just the icing on the cake!

Carl FC - FC Sakura 1-1P

This was a tough one. Our opponent played the nasty 4-4-2. The quality of both sides was equal and in minute 32 Sakura was down 0-1. At halftime we brought two fresh players in the midfield which gave us a bit more possession and Radenkovic equalized. It was his sixth goal in the three games since he joined Sakura. This was a really great transfer!!! After 90 minutes I substituted a defender and Sakura still dominated in the extra time but failed to score. So it came down to penalties and there our goalkeeper was superb so that in the end we won 4-3! The cup-win was also the first trophy for this team who already had secured the win in the league before.

Berkshire Utd had an easy 11-1 victory and is only 2 games away from a perfect 26-0-0 season!

So - a wonderful day and I am happy that at least two days I don't need to focus too much on strategies etc.

My first Cup victory after 8 Lvs.!

I'm very happy about it, but I'm playing against some never-faced-before formations...

What you recommend against 3-5-2V?
I was thinking 4-3-3 as It works great against 4-5-1V and heard that it does the job against 'V' formations but haven't faced 3-5-2V before!

What you recommend against 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond?
Here I was planing 4-5-1V // 3-5-2V?

Today's CL final will be the toughest game so far. The opponent has our same Q sitting on 55, with the problem that is main team comes whole from Mr. Scout, hence they are all players bought on 6* ranging from Q 54 to Q 59 with SAs. Couple of them are 7* or nearly that. On chart then they are stronger than us and use ND. We'll try break them to achieve a storic Triple :o

with one more game left to go, my team stay undefeated in the League for two season in the rows. CL final match will be up against team with formation 4 3 3.Well 4 5 1 V vs 4 3 3.....My team are not a counter formation based....so purely relying on one formation only. Which bring the total of only one lost in the CL Semi Final First Around. Cup Competition....i must say...no luck at all...

Rough loss for Pigs United

Well sadly Pigs united lost our cup final 3-1. We had a good fair bit of possession, the game was equal except the fact he managed to convert 39% of his shots, while i didnt. His better quality in the end showed my 22.1 vs his 26.

Luckily 2 hours later we successfully won 2-0 away from home against 2nd in the league, that now puts us 4 points clear with two games to go. First half of the season was dreadful 10 wins 1 draw 2 losses, But we bounced back and are so far undefeated in the second half of the league.

League Round 25 - hasel seldus 0-3 July Fourth 130.4 3N-5-2 flat vs 136.8 ND (Quick Summary)

A very good performance from July Fourth as they found their way past a strong and resolute hasel seldus side that were dangerous on the counter and defended quite well, Petersen put is into the lead after being put through from Papaleo, Hardy made it 2-0 with a shot from no-where before HT, and just as the game was ending we found a 3rd through a Petersen corner for Papaleo to header into the back of the net.
