League Round 4 - Winning Streak Over But Still Unbeaten

    July Fourth 2-2 Adanaspor

    July Fourth 3N-4-1-2 135.6 - Adanaspor 126.5 3N-2W-3W-2 then 30 minutes 5-3W-2

This is nothing but a completely disappointing result for us, We started off very well with Beckett's long range shot putting us into the lead early on and then he followed up by converting a free-kick and that doubled our lead, but Adanaspor unexpectedly produced a fightback to stun July Fourth with a change of tactics to 5-3-2 which worked well for them, Figueiredo squared off to Matusovic to pull one back before HT, The second half was more disappointment, Adanaspor were the better team and you could sense an equaliser they got it when Bacque's pass to Hunt beat Knight to make it 2-2, July Fourth went in attacking mode to try and regain the lead, Miku got through on goal and killed off the decence but the keeper kept it out for the corner, Petersen crossed in and George headered it away and we never come close to scoring afterwards... which ment we were forced into accepting a disappointing draw.

Goals: Beckett (8,20) Mutosovic (35) Hunt (68) MOTM: Kocou - Their bloody keeper!

Team Talk: It looks like it's time for us to go away and regroup after this result, after an amazing last season, it looks like game has finally caught up with us. Our club record winning league run here ends at 36 games surpassing the last run of 30 games set in Level 4-5. Since it's a draw our Unbeaten league run continues and that currently stands at 62 games which is still another 24 games short of the club record.

I don't know where it came from or anything, but it seemed quite bizarre that such a formation like 5-3W-2 flat managed to bring Adanaspor back in the game and get a draw possibly would of been a fluke I'd imagine... At least it occured now this season rather than near the end of last season that could of prevented the 26-0-0 I achieved, Well... No 26-0-0 for certain this season, not that I was trying to go 26-0-0 by any means.
