IBRAHIM FC 1-3 LONDON CITY

Our erratic form continued today with this win in Azerbaijan, against the league leaders. We got off to a great start, when Greg Fucillo slid the ball through to Vener Chekmarev to poke home, after just 5 minutes. The score remained at 0-1, until the 52nd minute, when Jack Daniels conceded a penalty, from which our host's equalised. Within a minute, Wayne Dixon had restored our lead with a fine solo effort. On 78', Chris Pigott scored his first goal of the season, when he converted a cross from Dixon. Ronan Kelly was sent on for his first league appearance, ten minutes from time, as a substitute for Daniels. There were yellow cards for Daniels and Fabio Haller during the game, and Dixon claimed the man of the match award.

Today's result was our fourth straight away win (100% for season), and gives us 13 points and 4th place in the table. Tomorrow we try to gain our first home win this term, against FC Bahmut from Ukraine, who currently are position 10, with 9 points.
