Aerial defender!

So in CL I tried the possible counter for 4 4 2 and got a draw:
Gawd I hate 4 4 2.

It matters not, I got him 1 to 4 at his and am through to next round. He played 5 4 1 (!) the first game.

I read somewhere 4-2-3-1 should work, I will try this and if not back to 4-1-4-1
