Ho to win a cup?

It seems a stupid question but I believe it is impossible to win this competition (for me).

Every season, no matter how many crappy players I buy in order to reduce my quality, I play 2 levels above mine.

And even if I face a lower quality team, it's not like when you meet the same team at your level: they are really stronger.

I'm almost out of the cup after 1 match but explain this:



I'm stronger in every area of the field. I have 4 scouts and 3 of them are almost 7 stars.
I don't know if the tactic is the best but sure is not the worst.
The team is not managed.
I've attacked him on flanks where he's totally uncovered.
knowing how things are going I started defensive. Then after 2 goals normal. Then afetr 3rd goal attacking with a 3W-1-2-2-2

Nothing, 0-3 and go home.

F**k the cup!

Luckily I can take confort with my second team (35T) which just made the TREBLE in season 2

The proper way to win a cup:

- Sell all your players nearing the end of the season
- Replace with the lowest you can get (lowest quality 3-star and the crappy youth players)
- Start a new season and get frustrated at the auction wars to get a new strong team before your 1st match
- Magically manage to make a great 1st team that should overpower any opponent in the cup unless they do the same
- Get trolled and go out against the first inactive opponent on away goals.
- Realize the game doesnt make sense in many cases

Thats basically the way to go.

I've got an account called Troll City, It was a team I played 35T/season for a number of seasons, but since the server is full of maniacs bidding and token buyers, I've decided to sell all my players at the end of last season and buy retiring 3* free agents and use the 500 or so tokens that were farmed on it to buy players and scouts and use you the 100 or so green boosters for some power training, It will mean I have a 75Q team in a 60Q RR Cup... Trololo...
