Why is it so much harder to play home matches then away???

My question is simple. Why is it so much harder to play home matches then away??? I barely scrape to win matches at home against the weaker teams with full stadium and extra possession and often lose against the teams who are about the same quality of players as my team or stronger. I play offensive and get half chances less against a team who play on counter attacks even when i have bigger possession. Where is the sense in that??? Have you ever watched a real football game???

the game logic doesn't have any...

i lost to a weaker team at home the other day... i had twice as many shots on goal nearly twice a s much possession and was by far the higher rated team... Yet I lost 2-1 at home

Then when i didn't bother turning up to the second league i battered him 5-1 away.

Makes no sense
