    It would be so awesome if there was a button for abandon team, let it be bot for rest of season and done, but, alas and alack, you pretty much need to start a new facebook account, though I did read something about how to have two teams with your phone, I have ancient (but extremely sturdy) phone so I didn't pay too much attention, maybe someone else knows more about that.
